all English officials for Burns-Cook, no parity

    1st off the bat I expect, and hope, the judges aren't required, in fact I've got money on Burns inside 8 rounds.

    but I've just learned the following will take charge of Saturday's World title fight

    Ref: Richie Davies

    No issues with Davies, he is our best ref, takes no ****, especially with the home fighter and I expect him to be fair to both fighters

    Judge 1: Davie Parris

    score cards tend to be general ok.

    Judge 2: Phil Edwards :-(

    How many times has this guy jobbed the likes of John Simpson? Dazzo Williams fight, 116-114 score card to Stephen Smith in the 1st fight then as the ref in the return bout where he allowed Smith to litterly hug his way to victory.

    Judge 3: Terry O'Connor :patsch

    Dear ****ing god where do you even begin with this one. 118-113 for Smith against Simpson in the 2nd fight :verysad


    If Scotland played England at fitba or Rugby then you wouldn't have English ref and linesman they would be Welsh or Irish.

    is it because this Scotland v England they bring in all British officials or shouldn't a World title fight actually have foreign officials?

    why no Vic Loughlin?

    i was toying with the idea of putting cook in my accumulator, im defo doing it now after reading this! haha

    well, if he could sell out a phonebox in his own country perhaps he could have brought in his own scottish officials.

    Burns wont needs the judges, Cook takes a shot like a school kid first time pissed.

    Dave Parris judging is as bad as his refereeing.

    Burns should take this inside the distance i'd be disappointed if he didn't.

    i cant see burns getting a stoppage, he doesnt hit hard enough.

    is cooks jaw really that suspect for some people to believe this?

    Body shots may be the key, think Luevano did him with several body
    shots if memory serves, he was not the biggest puncher either

    Its got **** all to do with nationality...they are a crew that generally work with one specific promoter...Pile everything you have on Burns

    Wouldn't be surprised if Bellew got a gift stoppage again. Especially if McKenzie has knocked him down more than once like that last time.
