What I interpreted, Pac stinging shots, Valero a thunderous one punch.

I think Pac punches hard rather than heavy; he doesn't move you with his punches, but when they land, they hurt in the concentrated spot they hit. And once they get you on the button, BOOM, goodnight (like Hatton.) Valero looks like he had heavy hands that violently push through whatever they land on.

I dont think Pac hits THAT hard. Of course he carries power but not that kinda power that leaves you like wtf just happened.

Jorge Solis says Gamboa hits harder than Pac. Of course Jorge was KO'ed in 4 rounds, what else is he gonna say but just something to add to the discussion.

Valero hit harder than Pacquiao. Valero had the heavier hands. Pacquiao is sharp puncher against stationary targets ala Cotto, Margarito, but that's it. Valero would've whooped his ass too.

Valero just needed to be able to trade with his opponent once before he either hurt them, or stole their heart. And always provided a guaranteed war. RIP

The best comparison for the power of Valero is Yory Boy Campas.

Very heavy hands and what knock opponents out is the brute force of the blow. Not the speed nor accuracy, something which is what Pacquiao has.

By the way, doesn't Antillon realize that sparring is sparring.

Could very well have something to do with the illegal manner in which Pac's hands are wrapped.

Based on Valero's limited opposition, and having really only fought one, maybe two name guys, I am of the opinion that Valero's power was over rated. He didn't KO Demarco, and Mosquera was more accumulation towards the end of the fight. Anybody can KO bum after bum, that doesn't necessarily mean that you have great power or anything. KOing legit top rated guys means much more.
