I think Alvarez is the man at 154. Followed by Lara, then Angulo, then Cotto and at a far far far distant last place Vanes M.

Cotto is by far the smartest fighter. This division has some incredible talent though. JCC Jr was left out of the poll understandably so but that kid is gonna FIGHT everyone you put in front of him. Some real reasons to get excited about boxing when u ook at this division. BTW Kirkland could still comeback. He took bigger punches from Julio then he did from his last opponent. A fluke victory IMO.

Cotto is and SHOULD be ranked the highest, but I don't think he's the best one

this, its undecided at this point, those guys fighting eachother more often would help determine who is the best.

yeah I feel you. Lara vs Williams was the best match they've had in the division in a while

Cotto is the Man right now at 154, but I can see him fading after the Cotto vs Margarito II bloodbath

nobody jumps out in the category, cotto hasnt done much at the weight, alvarez and lara havent proven themselves against top competiton... although lara vs williams was good but you can make a case he lost vs molina...

angulo might be the best of all but he hasnt won a belt yet

    :hat

Cotto schools him this time. Margarito was really most hurt in his fight with Manny when Manny hit him with that hard body punch. Cotto saw it, Manny Steward saw it and Cotto will hunt that body. Margarito gets his ass kicked this time.:thumbsup

:deal The former top dawgs(Williams, Cotto, Cintron, Margarito) eventually get replaced by the new, hungry talent. Canelo, Lara, Vanes, and Molina all look promising, but I have to agree Angulo leads the pack for now. Alot of interesting fights to be made.

Dzinziruk has the best resume IMO, even if he's not fighting very frequently these days.
