I would say Cotto is the best. Right now IMO he beats Lara in a really tough fight.

I also think he beats Canelo and Angulo rather convincingly. This is right now though. The fight with Margo could change my opinion on this.

Honestly, LOOKING AT 154 RESUME ONLY, it's definitely Sergei Dzinziruk... followed by Cotto and Alvarez...

This...I really believe that Angulo is a bigger threat than people are giving him credit for. He's a tough, tough guy with heavy, HEAVY hands.

Cotto is the top dog at 154. He and Canelo are the biggest draws; he and PW have the best resumes...

No one clearly better than the rest.

IMO, Canelo and Angulo would best most of the others in h2h situations. Cotto could lose to any of the top guys. PW is a question mark and Lara is the most likely candidate for being the next lmw undisputed champ.

Cotto is the #1 until he is dethroned, neither Lara or Canelo had done anything close to what the Rican has done or face, until one of them beat him he will b on top.

Being the biggest draw doesn't transalate in being the best, Cotto is there because he deserve it he has done a lot inside the ring, canelo is there because the money they make off him back in Mexico.

There is NO man at 154, none of these guys have done ****, nor are they looking to fight each other, which is really lame.

There is no definitive #1 guy at this weight. Until some of these guys start fighting one another, the answer will continue to be void.

It is interesting to note that the damaged fighter who fought and lost by TKO to a small (Mayweathers say midget) WW with a funny sounding name is now considered the man at Jr MW.

I think he has to be considered #1 now. Lara is close but they'll say he hasn't proven himself yet. P. Williams stock keeps sinking. Alvarez has high praise but again hasn't proven himself yet.

Id have to disagree. Angulo after Cintron is not the same Angulo and Im sure hed destroy Cintron in a rematch. Just recently he got the better of Canelo in sparring. If Lara and even Cotto have trouble with pressure fighters, theyll have their hands full with Angulo.

Dont get me wrong. I love Angulo, one of the most exiting fighters out there and i dont understand how someone could not be a fan. But as far as boxing ability, he is limited and not the best. Exiting yes.

I guess you gotta go with Cotto and Canelo, or Dzinziruk if he's still at 154. But honestly if theres a way to have no top dog in the division, this would be my choice until someone proves a little more. Im undecided in other words.
