I was finished with going to dolphil shows anyway after the fiasco in citywest and the way they behaved when I asked questions bout it but this is , if true , absolutely disgraceful. If it does end up in court and that its going to result in some very bad press for Irish boxing as a whole. Last thing we need when its already this hard to sell boxing to Joe public

Would love to see Carl box Kiko whos puching power i think is slightly overrated in Ireland
He has boxed here 4 times and only stopped one of those opponents (granted it was Dunne and in quick fashion)so whilst he is a big hitter no doubt he isnt the devastating knock out artist some people think him to be amd for me Frampton has the skils to outfox him.

On the other thing i am absolutely digusted if true but we probably should wait untill further information comes out before we make any snap judgements.

Did anyone else who read Dunne's book also get seriously surprised when it was Caballero who he was offered to fight? I was damn near certain at the time that it was going to be Larios.

If I'm honest, and maybe it'll be controversial, but I think Dunne could've/would've beaten him. Of course, the fact that he wasn't mentally ready to take on such a task is obviously the main reason he didn't take it, but hypothetically, if he was in the right frame of mind, he'd have beaten Caba. Caballero is one of the most overrated fighters I've come across in recent years. The version of Ponce he beat had not yet reached anywhere near his best, and Molitor was nearing past-prime stage, as well as not being very good to begin with.

He never was, has, or will be better than Cordoba. Dunne got the harder fight in the end, and whether Maestrito was unfocused or not, he's a better fighter than Caba and it's a better scalp for Dunne. Bernard's chin is obviously a stumbling block, especially seeing as Caba's power was all that got him by, but that aside I'd think Dunne could best him.

 No thanks, I don't want to be shown up.

And this isn't bias in any way, shape or form. I've been accused of going out of my way to be un-biased before, but I wouldn't post that if I didn't mean it. I think Dunne's one of the very few Irish fighters in recent times to genuinely be a world-level fighter, and Caballero really isn't even half as good as he was ever cracked up to be. He's inept when presented with any kind of movement, timing and counter-punching, and if Dunne was disciplined he could've exploited that.

If only Dunne had a chin, he would of been really good.
