Vitali vs Adamek, Vitalis career-ending fight?

Could be, doubt it though. He wants more paydays.

 

I think he will have 1/2 more fights.

Personally I think that it will be a very exciting fight, because of the styles. Not fireworks, but a lot of boxing.

 

I could see Vitali retiring on a high after this fight.

Unless he can get Haye,I dont really see their being any fight out there for him.
Wlad can clean up anyone who is left.

 

you forget he wants haye, but if haye does his best to avoid it then yeah he will probably retire

 

Vitali is a born fighter.

He'll grow tired of life outside the ring, so long as he has the physical foundation to box and dominate, I predict he'll do it.

Vitali will probably go for as long as he keeps dominating people.

 

Yep, considering he hasn't taken much punishment in his career he'll probably keep fighting until he loses his fighting edge..

I agree he's gonna put a hurtin on Adamek, most likely just as soon as he starts finding him, but I don't think a brutal domination by Vitali entices Haye in the least to want Vitali next.

This fight is what it is....
Adamek is a slick but soft puncher at HW. He's not overly cautious and takes punches to get inside. He does decent body work once inside, but Vitali has NEVER been soft to the body, not even in his last bout when he carried what looked like lovehandles into the ring. His body is as hardened as his chin and his fists.
Adamek, in taking punches to get inside, often is hurt, wobbled, stunned. His recovery is usually quick, but he's NEVER fought such an accurate power puncher, and never one so quick to the punch as Vitali.

Adamek wins the first and second round, while Vitali mostly leans back away from Adameks jab to the head, R to the body. Adamek will slip more shots than he lands and will look like he's gonna cruise.

Round 3 will go to Vitali when he lands his first hard punch and Adamek goes on the run. Vitali will chase him down, miss with a ton, but find Adamek with some shots sending him to a knee to avoid the KO. He'll live to fight on.

Adamek will take the 4th similarly to the 1st and 2nd, but far more defensively. Mostly countering, especially to the body where he won't have to over-extend. Vitali will start his typical breathing through the mouth, and the analysts will start talking about Vitali showing his age, and Adamek looks to be in control.
If the fight goes six or seven, I see Adamek winning at least one of those two rounds, but my official prediction is that Vitali will find Adamek again in the fifth, but early this time. Adamek will get caught and go down hard. He'll get up, and be on wobbly legs, and Vitali will find a home for his straight R or his R UC and the fight will be over. Either the ref will jump on Adamek and save him from getting up, or he'll get up onto a knee, groggy, and stay down for the sake of his career.

If this fight is ending a HW's career, it's Adamek's.
He is a warrior to the fullest, and a competent HW in any era. But he just doesn't have the chin or the power to beat a Klitschko, of any age.

If I was Adameks mgr/promoter/trainer, I would have moved into contention for the fake WBA strap, or Toney's WBF strap.

Adamek would look fine wearing either of those belts, and I hope one day he does, but if his getting a belt goes through a Klitschko it just aint happening.


Matter of fact.......

If ANY HW's road to a title ends with a Klitschko, they might as well walk, because they aint crossing that finish line any time soon.:deal

 

This might be his last fight because I don't see the motivation to continue for him.

 

As for this being Vitali's LAST fight.......IDK. He is still the 2nd best HW in the world by a long shot. He still beats everyone not named Wladimir, and there's still a ton of money to make, and many an entertaining night he can give us fans.

I personally want to see him fight Haye, Potvetkin, Boystov, Dimtrenko, Valuev, Chagaev, Fury, Helenius, Solis, Thompson, and Chambers.

Obviously he can't fight all those guys as some would be retired before he could get em in, and some would refuse. And there is his current age of 40. But because he is in such great shape, and could carry around 10 less lbs of muscle and even 15 more pounds of fat and still dominate, I could see him going 3,4 maybe even 5 more years.

Obviously not saying some young HW won't come along with all the power of Briggs, the speed of Haye, the defense of Ali, the chin of Holyfeild and the intensity of Tyson. A guy like that would retire most any HW, and for all the KlitschKO2 haters out there, I'm sure you'll be praying night and day for him to arrive.

 

It's going to be an exciting fight. Lots of potential for a Heavy fight so long as Adamek can take numerous Vitali punches. I expect blood to be shed and Adamek to not quite unless its a horrible cut. Adamek/nor his corner will throw in the towel, i'll tell ya that now. Bloodworth is embracing this title opportunity just as much as Tomasz is. I hope this isn't one-sided and I expect Vitali to keep this fight long. After all, the Klitschko brothers are boxers, gentlemen, and entertainers... they don't like to end fights early anymore.

 

I'd like to see Vitali fight the bigger heavies such as Helenius, Valuev, or Wach. It seems to be that he is too big to fight the smaller guys that its not even fair, but with guys the same height as him, if not bigger, that gives Vitali a chance to show his true skill and exchange some brutal shots with the other guy. Those would be exciting
