On achievements alone you would have to go with Angulo as he has fought there more but he has never won a title there.

The champs Alvarez and Cotto havent really faced that tough of opposition there.
    Cotto - Foreman and Mayorga
    Alvarez - Hatton and Rhodes

This is a division that is about to blow up though. I have been looking forward to it for a while. Where is Omar Henry at too??

    I don't think there is a clear #1 at 154 right now.

Cotto at the moment slightly edges everyone because of his overall body of work, name, exp, skill etc.....he's also the most likely to go on a rapid decline. Its unfortunate that he couldnt maintain at 147lbs. I know most would coincide his depreciation with his Margo war and I would go along with that theory. That fight, in my opinion did not change him it just wore on him mentally....all the skill and potential I saw in him went to the dog house when he decided to stay on his toes and not stand his ground against Margarito. Cotto made Margo look almost clueless during portions of the fight and this was a testament to his boundless ability but he never used his inside skill and gased before he could maintain the strength to body with the bigger Margarito....I look forward to watching more Canelo and Lara, they have awesome potential.

Cotto is #1. Lara and Molina are tied for #2 until they settle their business and one of them drops to #3.

It's a little strange that of my top three, the pack leader has only recently moved up to the weight and thus has a sparse resume there while the two behind him don't actually hold any ABC world titles between them. :conf Just how the cookie crumbles.

h2h it's these three for sure. Any one of them beats Canelo, Angulo, Martirosyan, K9, Wolak etc.

Not many of the candidates have been in the ring together, so the question is impossible to answer. Big 154-fights looking forward to them !

    1. Cotto- though he only has 2 wins and one against past it mayorga
    2. Alvarez- undefeated holder paper title no great win
    3. K9- worked his way up the hard way beat a good champ avenged a loss
    4. Dzinziruik- longest reigning guy inactive and just lost at the weight above
    5. Molina- favorite guy without a belt
    6. Lara- great fight agaisnt williams but was **** vs molina not sold yet
    7. Wolak- great pressure fighter just beat foreman
    8. Williams- thought he lost but the official W keeps him in the ranks
    9. Cintron- just got pounded but is still a top fighter
    10. Angulo- top fighter lossed to cintron future in jeopardy

great division that in the past has been ignored many great match options

and a great FNF next weekend Wolak vs the experienced Rodriguez

I'm actually going to throw Lukas Konecny's name in the hat (as maybe top 5-6 or so). Not many know about him, but that guy is just a fighter through and through and could be h2h poison for a lot of supposed top ten names.

The Light Middle division is in a pretty bad state.

I'd favour the Margorito that fought Pac, to beat most of these guys.

Also my last thread I was only joking.

However, I was gonna put Cotto, and then i thought, Floyd and Manny would beat anyone in light middle,

    only by default.

    154 is **** right now.

    bundrage?
    Dzin?
    margo?

    lw 155 mma is flush.

in fact, most of boxing is **** right now.

thanks to adamek, khan and hopkins for stepping up and taking real fights.

could anyone even fathom what mugabe, norris, hitman, duran, leonard, prime vargas, winky, etc. etc. etc. would do to cotto?

over/under would be about five rounds.

cotto has beaten an injured part-time fighter in yuri foreman and a 50-year-old shopworn mayorga. and now he is the ring 154 champion?

    what a ****ing disgrace.

Lara...WTF, he's coming off a gift draw, and controversial loss. If you want to make the case he beat Williams that's fine, but he lost to Molina, so I'm not sure how you just gloss over this as if it didn't happen.
