    agreed
back in the early part of the decade, my dad, and my buddies at the gym were all "wlad this, wlad that" but I always like vitali a bit better. I tend to think that he has that mean streak that is good for a boxer to have, and I dotn think wlad has that quality

Adamek is a left-handed, who fights orthodox. This means, that he has a very good left hand too. Adamek's left hand is very accurate.

    Here is Adamek playing tennis

Actually Adamek has pretty good defensive skills. Hes not a defensive master, but hes quite good at it.

Adamek isnt on Vitalis resume yet, and i hope that will never be:smoke

I dont think that his corner may stop the fight, only if there would be a danger of Adamek losing the health pernamently.

I disagree. Haye may make Vitali miss like did Kevin Johnson, but he doesnt have the wrokrate to be competetive. Vitali threw 1000 punches against Johnosn and only 30% landed, but it is still 300 punches landed.

Haye throws (not lands) 300 punches a fight. This is a big difference

Yeah, Valuev would make a great fight with either Wlad or Vitali. Wish the guy would start calling.:good

Maybe you should actually watch Vitali vs Byrd? It was cat and mouse with Vitali winning practically every round before Vitali hurt his shoulder (a torn rotator cuff). A fluke for Byrd.

I have watched the fight. Don't agree that it was that simple for Vitali. Vitali was winning, but Byrd was avoiding punches, sometimes countering. Vitali was winning on cleary all cards, but Chris is one of few fighters that has been able to win rounds against Vitali.

Why would he retire when hes virtually unbeatable? He should fight for another 5 years. Why get into politics under age 40?

    Ok, it´s a matter of a opinion.

I thought that Byrd won only the last round in which Vitalis shoulder was already busted and like limb dick - he couldn´t hit. So I don´t count that as legit round won.

But in any case, this might be Vitalis last fight before retirement, so we should enjoy seeing the giant warrior while we still can.

Everyone says Wlad is the better fighter than his brother but Wlad can't throw 1000 punches in a fight. Vitali is a freak of nature to be that big and that strong and have that kind of insane stamina on top of it. He's like a giant Joe Calzaghe.

That would be a good plan to start with the body, but I dont think that he will do that for the whole fight. Vitali is a very inteligent boxer and he will find a solution after few rounds how not to get hit to the body.

Adamek must in the first place land more punches than Vitali, if he wants to win the fight.

That impresses me too. Not only he throws about 800-1000 punches a fight, but his accuracy is very high too. Thats why I think that prime Vitali is much harder to outbox than prime Wladimir.

He is a fantastic fighter, hope that we can see at least one more fight after the Adamek fight.

It's a boxing fight. Expect punches to be exchanged.
