I suspected this would happen. Over on the site that hypes fights there's an interview with a senior official from WADA. The official states that The USADA is highly respected and would be the best agency to handle any WADA style testing for a sporting event in the U.S. This is why I was skeptical of Arum's statement. He claims the USADA is biased, and that he won't use them and that he wanted to work with WADA. However, it appears as though if he did go through WADA, they would recommend that the USADA be used. I guess we're back to square one.

The WADA and USADA are governing bodies whose mandate is solely AMATEUR sports!!!!!

It does not have any madate at all when it comes to professional sports otherwise, MLB, NBA, NFL would be enforced to follow USADA!

Pac typically does his first 6-7 weeks of training in the Philippines. Who will test Pac while he's there? USADA, or the local WADA anti-doping agency Philippine Sports Commission?

No one is making this claim. However, we had say Arum that Pac had agreed to full random blood and urine testing. He further claimed that the USADA was biased. He said he wouldn't use him and wanted to go through WADA. However, WADA is now saying the USADA would be the best agency to use for WADA style testing in the U.S.

But but but but but but ........the *****s were saying that you can still get the benefit of PEDS even with less than 3 days window!!!!

Are the *****s saying that testing is now subjective? If the tester feels that the fighters are not cheating, they can stop the testing anytime? The ***** PEDS experts are really getting dumber. So the purpose of Olympic testing actually is as deterrent, a threat, like the arms race with the MAD (mutually assured destruction) and not as to really catch someone cheating. They might as well collect specimens everyday and not run the tests at all because athletes don't know whether the usada is actually runniong tests anyway. The mere thought that someone is taking blood everyday is a deterrent enough.

They could have continued taking blood up to the fight and just throw it in the bin and that would be deterrent enough.

Training camps are typically 8 weeks. I've seen Roach claim numberous times that they spend half their in the U.S. Testing wouldn't comensurate until 8 weeks before the fight. So that's a maximum of 4 weeks he would be in the Phillipines during testing. I'm pretty sure they could work something out.
