Yes, the way he managed to bounce back from the Prescott loss has really made me a fan of his. Never really was before. Not many people can come back from such a debilitating loss like that and go on to achieve so much, that takes a special kind of fighter I think. And to go back in there with even HARDER punchers like Maidana and Judah?, that just plain takes a lot of balls and self belief. If nothing else you have to admire his heart.
I think he is the most entertaining & exciting boxer to watch in the sport currently after pacman. Not too keen on him as a person though he talks a load of bollocks and sounds like a dumb footballer repeating his words all the time. If you don't like watching khan fights then I question whether you even like this sport.
Hell no, only for the past 30 years or so. To be honest I didn't think a massive Khan fan would like what I had to say. That's my opinion, it's out there. Different strokes for different folks.
But your opinion was total b**locks as just 2 fights ago he fought the biggest puncher in his division.
And which **** alt are you again? :huh My location, nor anyone else, don't really matter IMHO. Don't like that, can kindly **** yourself. :thumbsup
It would be better if everyone states their reasons why they like or dislike him. yes, Amsterdam/Netherlands. Like: his heart, his ambition, him coming back from that ko, him not ducking anyone, being more humble, his speed and potential, willingness to fight the best. Dislike: overlooking opponents, being alreayd on a floyd/pac level in his mind, his flaws during a fight, letting his family have to much power over him, him not really correcting the flaws. Khan isnt my favourite boxer, but I do like him and root for him in many fights and hope he becomes a good champion that will achieve success in 3 divisions.
USA, and yes. I wasn't too impressed with his career path initially because it seemed like he was being managed like a hype job, but how he rebounded after the Presscott fight and his subsequent level of competition has won me over. I respect guys who bounce back from adversity and overcome it to keep challenging themselves, which Amir's done. That's also one reason I'm a big fan of Wlad. He's young, but he's already shown enough mental toughness to overcome a loss, and he's already fought a wide range of fighters without backing down. Even those who aren't fans ought to at least respect him for that.
I think he is getting his name out there rather than overlooking fighters...he called out Bradley and he didnt want a fight so cant blame Khan there and Im glad he had a domestic fight with Mcloskey...and I give Khan more chance than Ortiz to beat PBF
