    Ok COOL!

I'm chalking this down for everything in place for the fight to happen.

I suggest the same for everyone else because most likely Floyds camp won't comment on it until after Sept 17th anyways.

Lets all just enjoy the buildup to the Ortiz & JMM fights and move on from all this he said /she said Testing crap.

I don't see it that way.

If WADA approve's UCLA Labs or some other testing body and Bob backs off from that, THEN it's back to square one.

I say, they should pay Ortiz and JMM some step aside money NOW and finalize the Pacquiao vs Floyd May 2012 superfight.

its amazing how people cant see thru the bs. arum is protecting manny from the tests. its been this way since day 1. all indications lead to believe manny is a juicer.

I'm actuall not much against Floyd having a tuneup and Pac settling unfinished business. They just both better win!!!:D

But what if Floyd doesn't like UCLA? Would you blame Floyd or Arum? This will be for another debate.

Yeah and Mayweather comprimised on that issue and on a cutoff date and the fight still didn't get made.

The supposed conflict of interest is the USADA partnering with AEG to implement an Anti doping program. That's the USADA's job.

So now AEG is going to payoff the USADA to rig the drug tests in this fight in order to help out Golden Boy? This is a big time reach.

That doens't work out in this scenario. The USADA is an anti doping agency. Their job is to fight against doping. They are also a non profit entity that is funded by the government. To say that they can't be trusted here because they partnered with AEG to fight against doping is a pretty weak argument.

I don't know how many times I have to tell you, I have no problem with another party being used. The problem I have as that I believe Arum is doing nothing but throwing up another smokescreen. Remember when he said that they agreed to everything and that the testing wasn't an issue? Well clearly he was lying, and I'm not about to trust him here.

In that particular scenario I would question why Floyd was backing off the stance of it not mattering who did the testing.

UCLA are just the labs...they still need people to actually go out and take the tests

thats where the real hang up is

On this apparent conflict of interest with Golden Boy, USADA, and AEG that Arum is worried about, can someone point me to a link where he actually articulates this complaint? As far as I know, his objections to USADA during the first negotiation was that they would not guarantee that Pacquiao would not be tested during the week of the fight, and his latest objection is that Floyd is from the United States. I know this has been theorized as one of the reasons he does not want to use USADA, but I don't recall him actually saying so.

How is it a hangup when that is standard OST procedure and they've already conducted OST procedures in the olympics???

I don't see how an org so prestigious & tenured would be hampered by having to fly people out to Vegas & Baguio, just tack the costs on the bill.

In the article for the Winter Olympics they took every measure to ensure proper testing. Why wouldn't that be the case in this scenario?
