Are we talking about Tyson-Lewis money?

The one thing I know is that the Klitschkos are getting 3.5m € per fight from RTL.

Also the Klitschkos are advertising for a shitload of stuff, Milchschnitte, Beer, some pills and ****.

Did the 50/50 split include some of this money also?

The Klitschko Bros are not free to air in Germany. They are on a subscription channel but they are not pay-per-view.
I think that SKY's pay-per-view record was broken - their system collapsed after 1.2 million sales.
The BBC had their highest ever online figure with 250,000 people sitting by computers or using their smart phones. They also had their second highest ever phone-in figures when the fight was over.
Enjoy the weekend fights and tonight's BBC London 94.9 show.

    Adios.

It was the biggest chance in years to bring boxing back but no one I know was remotely happy with that fight.

Biggest chance in years to bring boxing back from where to where?

If Haye had knocked him out, it wouldn't of suddenly made boxing popular again.

The casuals were disappointed because they had spent weeks being told by the papers they read that Haye was going to destroy him, all said in order to promote the fight in order to get them to buy it in the first place. He went in the ring.. and was beaten by someone better than him. I'm not really sure what "chance" you think was involved.

    Is boxing not 'back' anyway?

Does all that hype and PPV sales not suggest it's in decent nick?

Let's not kid ourselves that in the past joe public gave a damn about anything more than the twice yearly Bruno / McGuigan fights or whatever, they simply didn't
