And USADA are just the governing body or implementing body and they need the laboratories. That is also the real hang-up.

Any person who understands pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics can design a drug testing that is close to perfection. I don't think USADA is more than competent than the most respected doctor in the whole world whenit comes to doping.

Tygart is a lawyer appointed by the US congress whereas Caitlin is a medical doctor who devoed more than 2 decades to research on doping. Tygart is a bureaucrat, while Caitlin is a scientist. I am sure Caitlin can design a protocol without any need at all of the USADA.

AEG actually organizes some bicycle tours and asked USADA to do he testing for them.

It is fine in that case because AEG does not represent any specific bicyclist. However, AEG also holds promotional interest in some athletes like their most famous one is Tiger Woods. That is where the conflict of interest arises. USADA can not do the testing for the entire Golf community if they are also to include AEG athletes because of the question of conflict of interest. You can not ask a body you actually partnered with to tests your own athlete as well as the others who are not part of the AEG. It is simply raises the question of conflict of interest. They might not be doing anything at all but the suspicion would always be there.

In the case of Gayweather, during the first negotiations, AEG was part partner of GBP. Infact there was an article that AEG was planning to buy into the GBP. If it pushed through, I really don't know. But that was not just a unsubstntiated rumor. It is easy to look it up in the web.

The problem with USADA in regards to the professional sports is the there is always someone who foots the bills. Unlike in the amateurs where the country's olympic organiztion pays for the bills. hat is the weakest link in their set-up which the USADA was not designed for. If the NSAC does not foot the bill and instead Gayweather would pay all the bills like in the Mosley-Gayweather fight, then all questions could be raised. Example, how come that they stopped testing 18 days prior to the fight? Is it because Gayweather is finding it hard (rember it took him 5 long hours just to give a urine specimen) that he stopped the test? He pays for it, he can tell them anytime to stop the tests. And with confidentiality clauses in their contract, who can tell that it was actually ordered by Gayweather? It simply raises too many questions.

for the 1000th time, I don't give a **** who they use....but arum asking for wada and not wanting usada in the same sentence is like asking for apple juice w/o the apple

the only thing i am curious about is that if arum is being sincere in his/pac's agreement to full random testing w/o a cut-off, or his he purposely trying to muddy things up to make it look like he is accepting the testing, but really just throwing out spin and double talk

the one legit point i can agree with coming for the pturds is that pac does about 75% of his camp in pinoyland, which is not usada's territory

being that the fighter's will be training in different countries, i think it would be great if wada could send some neutral control officers out to handle things, but that just adds one more thing to negotiate, which means one more thing to use as a roadblock

When has Pac every called out anyone or responded to anyone specifically? Usually it's Roach or Arum isn't it?

Why hasn't Floyd responded to Arum? Has he said, ok we can use any agency as long as it's OST stylee testing or has he said no, we're only using USADA? It's pretty simple for him to respond isn't it?

USADA and WADA only facilitate the handling of the samples for testing in their country....for the right amount of money I'm sure they'd handle testing for anyone, anywhere if the money makes sense. They BOTH contract out licensed and certified phlebotomist or as they call them "doping officers" and then use a WADA licensed laboratories world wide to analyze the sample. It really doesn't matter who is testing on PAC's end as long as it meets the Random blood and urine testing without any designated cut off. Floyd agrees to whomever PAC decides and we have a fight. USADA can handle Floyd and WADA or whomever else can take care of PAC and boxing has a super fight.

The site that hypes fights.....interviewed the senior manager media relations from WADA and he confirms that USADA should do ANY testing.....and also WADA do NOT do any testing....Well I guess that puts an end to the debate......

No slight on Manny but Bob Arum lying like a b1tch yet again!

The only question is why does he need to lie?

Let's guess Arums next excuse to try and make Mayweather/Pacquiao not happen.

"Mayweather didn't answer the phone within 2 rings. That was the deadline I thought of in my head, we will now purse a fight with Ortiz."
