I've seen Bute take big shots from guys like Miranda, Berrio, Bika and Zuniga without any problem. Only time he's been hurt in his pro career was in the 12th round of the first Andrade fight and that's because Andrade landed like 30-40 power shots before an exhausted Bute went down.

No chin? I'm not saying he has a granite chin, but he definitely has a decent one.

I'm a huge critic of Bute and I agree with the first paragraph, but I can't agree with the jaw getting shattered part. He has the talent to beat the top dogs in the division. The only criticism I have of Bute is his choice of opponents so far. He has a lot of talent.

 

I find Bute VERY boring tbh. I don't rate him too highly either.

And this thing about him fighting this other person you said - I don't believe it for a second. I doubt that person even exists.

Excluding those who are currently boxing in the Super 6, which are the Boxers that Lucian Bute didn't fight?

I understand the critics considering that he was at the time with HBO and the Super Six was a Showtime event. He's positionned himself to face anyone coming out of that tournament. It's just not ending. I'd have to see the rankings in the division before the tournament begin and now to really judge of the situation.

As for his jaw, I'd say it's probably fine. The only one shaking him being Librado Andrade after being destroyed for 11 rounds. He prooved in that fight that he had a solid jaw and Bute was completely gazed in the final round which cost him. That mistake was not repeated and since that fight Bute have been more effective getting his opponents out of the fight before he ran out of juice.

I'd rank him #1 as the biggest fraud in the sport at the moment
