Don't know why people are getting overly excited for this one, Berto would absolutely trash Ortiz with the right gameplan aswell.

    That is all.

I never get excited for Floyd fights.
He will probaby beat Ortiz by wide UD, but I'm rooting for Ortiz anyway...

I think berto and ortiz are on the same level, thats what I said before the fight as well, if they fight 10 times they will be splitting wins.
Ortiz was the better man that night and therefore got the chance to make history vs floyd, eventhough he is not favoured to win, when we look at everything: ortiz knocking down every opponent in his last 7 fights, him carrying his power at welter, being young and hungry and floyd coming back from another lay off while in his mid 30's how can you really exclude Ortiz by ko already?
Even if its not likely you still cant count it out completely, especially if floyd really is going toe to toe.

Yes, with the right gameplan, Berto would smoke his boots.

And I don't like Berto, it just shows you what kind of idiot he is, fighting Ortiz fight.

He may even stop him late.

Many boxers can beat other boxers with the right gameplan, yet they still lose. Berto was beaten in virtually every department. Berto is not the idiot for fighting Ortiz's fight, Ortiz was very clever in making Berto fight his fight.

ortiz didnt even have a gameplan by his own admission he just went to fight.

He went there and got praised for something margarito is hated for, going balls to walls with little concern about defense.

Can you imagine what margo would have done to berthoe?

I'd imagine Margarito smoking Berto, much along the lines of his victory over Golden Johnson.

Not unless that gameplan somehow included steroid injections into Berto's chin and mid section. Andre Berto has always been weak - lacking in durability - lacking in punch resistance both body and head. Ortiz did what any hard punching aggressive reasonably tough opponent could have done to that ****ing dixie cup Andre Berto.
