Discussion in 'British Boxing Forum' started by redandwhiterob, Jul 15, 2011.

  1. This Saturday's at Liverpool looks a cracking one, just a casual boxing fan so happy to be put right but this card seems to be the best in this country thats non PPV for quite a while

True but i doubt any other British promoter could "accidently" put on a card of this quality it is pretty impressive for non PPV how he is making a penny out of it I have no idea.

    :good

Exactly. Bellew ~ Cleverley with Paul Smith on the undercard and a few other qulaity fights would probably sell 10,000 in the Merseyside region alone.

Yeah think it's panned out to be a cracking card. Hopefully the fights will be entertaining i'm sure Murray-Mitchell and Bellew-McKenzie delivers the others not so sure they will be brilliant.

I'm sure Cook will give it a real go but i think Burns could break him with body work late on.

I thought that the Morales vs Maidana card was better, but this is a good domestic card.

Read the title: In THIS country non-PPV.

This card reinforces the argument there should be a two tier ppv. £7-£10 (say £8.95) and a top tier ppv price of £15 for the really big fights.

Its bad enough now with all the "This is a disgraceful PPV" threads without having a subset of "This PPV should be £7.50 not £12.75" threads.;)
