Lewis would have spread WALDO's nose across his face. He is so lucky Lewis never got hold of him as he would have been bounced up and down like a ****ing yoyo.

Nah, Wladimir is bigger, with longer reach and probably also more power. Not sure about speed. Both have/had beautiful balance and poise in the ring. Lewis had more variation in his attack and possibly more skill.. Both men have been knocked out by percieved weak opposition. Lewis fought the best opposition definitely, but also cherry-picked quite a bit and the best names on his resume were over the hill by the time he beat them. Wlad hasn't been in with the highest quality opposition, so in a way it's impossible to know how good he really is now. I think it's too close to call between them.

Lewis might be right about Wladimir, but I remember Lewis spent a lot of time being over-cautious and holding a lot too.
He bored the **** out of the audience in many of his fights.
Wlad may have taken it to another level, but Lewis got that ball of **** rolling. :good

    Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhahhhahahhahahhahahahhahahaha!!! :lol::rofl:lol::rofl

Yes, Lewis is responsible for this. That ****ing Brittard!!1!!1one!1

When you say "many" of his fights were boring - can you actually quantify this? Let me guess, this list probably goes:

    Tua
    His pro debut
    Tua
    He was losing against Bruno
    Holyfield
    Tua
    and that Samoan chap.

Lewis was far from boring, **** ******. :deal

Tua was actually a great demonstration of adapting to suit your opponent. He achieved something pretty clever in that fight. He managed to make Tua look even more stupid than his hairstyle.

I would favour Lewis against Vlad personally - But I think posters using claiming it would be easy are just being antagonistic and not realistic.
Whoever wins is in for a tough fight and anyone in history agaisnt Vlad or Lewis is in for a tough fight, win or lose.

I someimes wonder, do Lewis fans claim Vladimir would win easy and Vlad fans claim Lewis would win easy just to discredit each others opinions?

I don't think Lennox really thought for one minute that Haye would beat Wlad. He was working for Sky and said what he had to. It was written all over his face.

He's right. I cant understand why people say that Wladimir is the better of the two, I've ALWAYS thought VK was the better fighter.

I wrote this post a week or so ago, in relation to the Emanuel Steward: "Wladimir is the more talented, Lennox is the more accomplished" thread.

When Lewis fought Vitali back in 2003 Vitali was thought to be the far weaker of the two brothers and a quiter and not known to have that great chin. But still Lewis fought scared for the first few rounds.

But now Lewis fans (Not really Lewis fans, just Klitschko haters) say Lewis would of walked in on Wladimir, throw bombs fearlessly! Its stupid.

Lewis may have won the fight, but we'll never know because he ran away from boxing when he seen the first real challenge coming up too his championship.......

If my memory serves me correctly. When Lennox felt he had a real challenge, he went to war and blasted them out as quickly as poss - Ruddock, Golota, Grant, his rematches etc.

    Mmmm.
You're probably an imbecile but I'll respond anyway.

You obviously missed the point of what I was saying.
I'm not blaming Lewis for Wlad being boring, just pointing out that we got used to Lewis being boring and over-cautious long before Wlad came along. :good

Lewis was boring against Levi Billups, Tony Tucker, Phil Jackson, Lionel Butler, McCall 2 (the only thing that made the fight memorable was McCall crying), Mavrovic, - he was a bit boring against Holyfield if we're honest - Tua, and others.
He was boring against Akinwande, but I'm happy to blame that all on Akinwande.
He was infurariatingly over-cautious against Tyson.
He rarely got good reviews for being thrilling, because he simply wasn't.

He was often boring, dickhead. :deal

Lewis on average weighted similar to what Wlad weighted or a few pounds above. Lewis has the bigger reach not Wlad. Lewis' reach is 84 inches, Wlad's is only 81 inches. Only advantage Wlad had in physical dimensions is an inch in height.

Power I would say is very similar but Lewis has a better variety of power shots, his right hand and right uppercut are as good as any in heavyweight history. Lewis also showed in the Mercer fight he can hit the body pretty damn hard as well, something we haven't seen from Wlad.

Speed goes to Wlad, his punches are delivered a little bit straighter and with less leverage which makes them just a little bit quicker in my opinion.

As with any hypothetical match up we will never know in reality who would truly win but based upon what we have seen of both men Lewis has to be the favourite. He has fought and beaten better opposition and when he has lost it has been to a better level of fighter than some of Wlad's losses.

Lewis actually picked Wlad, he just said his heart went with Haye. So he knew Wlad would win but wanted Haye to win being a fellow Brit.

:rofl What a load of bollocks.

Vitali was regarded as the better brother in 2003, he had not been beaten in 3 years and even before Johnson pulled out Lewis had already agreed to fight his top contender, Vitali not Wlad. Lewis was praised for replacing the injured Johnson with his number 1 contender for his title. If Vitali was number 1 contender how was Wlad regarded as the better brother?

Wlad's stock had plummeted in 2003 as he had just had his arse handed to him in embarrassing fashion by Sanders.

Lewis would have walked fearlessly at Wlad because that's how he deals with big men, he did it to Grant, to Vitali and Akinwande. He also advised Sanders to do the same. Had they fought he would have looked to pressure Wlad from the bell and KO him quickly.

Yes we will never know if Lewis would have beat Vitali, despite the fact he had already done so. That's pure bias, that's like saying we will never know if Vitali had fought Rahman before having to retire if he would have won, so we must now blame Vitali and doubt his credentials. Lewis was old and unmotivated, Vitali injured, you can't blame either for their decision to quit when they did. Only those with an agenda would do.
