K-1 and Strikeforce HW Champion Alistair Overeem has just said that he would really consider a move to Boxing to fight Vitali Klitschko. I don't know if he would win and I don't think he would but I hope he does make the switch over to Boxing because he is one of the few MMA fighters I still like.

He best stick to MMA/K1, Vitali would make quick and easy work out of him in boxing.

He didnt defeat Werdum in the first round
    He won a lackluster decision.

And I love Overeem, he was born in My home town of Hounslow

But he would get DESTROYED by Vitali

unless he gives him a flying knee and gets DQ

I think so to. I would still like to see him make the switch to Boxing though, not against Vitali but I would bet that Overeem would be better than a lot of boxing heavyweights.

I think Overeem would have some degree of success in Boxing if he worked with a proper Boxing coach for a while. I'm certain he could never beat Vitali though.

Being a K1, Strikeforce and WBC champion would be pretty cool - will never happen though.

If an extremely limited Frans Botha can give world champ kickboxers like Bojanksy life and death battles while fighting in their game, how is Overeem supposed to beat a legit world boxing champ at his?

This would be ridiculously one sided.

Yeah he would need to work his way up to the higher levels never mind fighting Vitali as his first fight.

Overeem would get handled by either brother within the first three rounds.

A lot of what you said is true but far too harsh. Overeem has balls fighting at the top level of Kickboxing even if he got lucky in his gp fights, he still won the GP= credit due.

He wont beat either Klitschko but I it would be amazing to watch him challenge the elite hw boxers( the Klitschkos have no real comp to challenge them anyway).
