Yeah he was drinking some shake at the conference. He seems to have done the weight very well this time. Looks well as well. Tony's like Cotto where his face shows when there drained/unwell etc.

 

I think bellew looks good looks like made the weight well.

Am i wrong i thoght Gavin fight was at 10st 4 catchweight? Been a way couple weeks did something change?

 

Yep last week him and his team asked to change it to 10st 7 as he's struggling to make the originally agreed weight.

 

Shame,i hope he can make 10st in future. He's the prospect i most enjoy watching but just feel its going to be a constant battle agianst the bigger guys at welter.

 

Yeah your right there, shakes and water, unless that was for show? But he looked good. Said he's a 'different fighter' since he's been back in training, hopefully it shows on Sat and he gets a good performance and win in.

Anyone thinking Cook is being underestimated? Anyone picking him?
I reckon Burns will win, but interested to see if Cooks got much left.

Go and see Kerry Kayes, mate. Look at the shape he got Ricky Hatton in.

You could be massive in two weight classes below if you got yourself to a simple 10% bodyfat.

 

Not picking him but he is being under estimated. he is no bum. will go the distance.

 

Kerry Kayes & Mick Williamson should be intregral parts of Frankie Gavins setup.

 

ive heard mixed things about kerry kayes ie he just has his boxers doing too much body building stuff and not sport specific stuff. was he involved for the pac man fight? if he was not exactly a glowing endorsement was it....

Yeah Tony looks rejuvenated,just looks happier and also fresh faced without the growth . Maybe because he was so close to fighting for a world title and wants to get back there.

I didn't like the like the look of Cook at weigh in. Ricky looks lot bigger and Cook looks frail from a pic i saw posted. He's never liked body work and i think Ricky will punch with aggression tomorrow. He knows what he has to do and i think for first 2 rounds it be decent nip and tuck cos Cook can box no doubting that but once Ricky settles and works to body Cook unravels fairly fast and is stopped in round 4-5.

 

He got Hatton from 180 to 140 in 12 weeks. end of story. In this country theres nobody better.

 

Hatton had a lot too lose the first few weeks the weight would drop off,Kayes may be good but there will be plenty other in the country who could do as good a job.
