Whats with Larry Merchants unprofessionalism towards Floyd Mayweather?

    Brian Kenny conducts his interviews like a professional. I love his interviews with Floyd. Because at the end of the day Kenny still respects Floyd as a fighter. You dont see that with Merchant. Merchant is very spiteful when it comes to Floyd.


    Again watch the beginning of the Mosley vs Mayweather fight. Its clear he is there to trash floyd all night long.

    There was a screen full of Joyboys who did nothing but boo Merchant when they were showing May-Mos in theaters.

    There seems to be a certain demographic that gets their rocks off watching Merchant stick it to black boxers.


    Merchant was hyping up Mosley for years, and then when he's about to fight Mayweather, he is basically saying Mayweather is cherry picking Mosley. :rofl

    But honestly I think Merchant saw Floyd at the lower weights go in and get stoppages on a large amount of fights.. He wants blood baths or knockouts each fight, you can tell he hates the hit and not be hit strategy... well at least when BHOP or Floyd does it. Says they prefer to not get hit, then hit. He should stick to commenting.

    :deal Merch does prefer the blood and guts warriors. I do agree some that he's been too much a cormudgeon with certain fighters. He's just an old, white, GOP kind of guy. They all have some thinley veiled racism to them. :lol:
