10 reasons why holyfield is overrated

Two of these guys are by far some of the greatest jabbers in the game yet that makes Holy overratted :huh:|

 

Holyfield was a fabulous fighter. The Bowe fights were fantastic but in hindsight he should have postponed the rubber match as he was clearly sick. At 100% he may have thrashed Bowe.

The disturbing Evan Fields alt being exposed also leaves permanent questions which only he can answer.

If you put any other champion into these fights at the same ages, you wont find many that come out with better performances.

Holyfield had his faults like all fighters. But he never ducked anybody and always was superbly conditioned even tho roids might of been part of it. Like he's the only 1.

His losses to Bowe hurt his legacy for me. I don't think Bowe was really as good as people say- it was within a year after beating Holyfield for the second time he fought Golota the first time, so he quite obviously wasn't shot and probably not even much past prime.

If Bowe was prime when he beat Holyfield in 95, then Golota exposed him

If Bowe was past prime when he beat Holyfield, then Holyfield's resume takes a hit

Either way, Bowe isn't the ATG people say he is

 

The fact that old shot Holy smacked around champ SNV better than David did tells you all you need to know about his bad assery. Haye fought scared. Holy fought knowing who one of the best were.
