In my opinion Wolak smothered Rodriguez effectively in rounds 4 and 5 to pull ahead. 3-2 Wolak.

Wolak's the kind of fighter you don't want to run into at a bar.

He doesn't look like much, but he'll take your best shot then beat your ass.

I have him up 3-2. Rodriguez seems to be abandoning his body attack. His left to the body was working for him.

Good fight. Rodriguez is landing the best shots but not enough of them to win the rounds IMO. Wolak is winning with his scoring blows and relentless aggression.

    49-46 Wolak.

    Round 5

Wolak is getting inside and touching the body with his right hand, tapping his left inside wrist against Rodriguez's trunks. Rodriguez is still countering well on the backslide, slipping shots and leaning in to intercept Wolak when his legs can't keep him clear or bring him to a barrier. Uppercuts by Rodriguez have less on them now. Wolak is wearing him out, but not landing very cleanly. Wrestling, uppercut inside by Wolak.

    10-9 Wolak

    48-47 Rodriguez

Great point. In these cases, Wolak's chin usually comes through giving him a chance to be there when the opponent's gear goes down. That's what I've seen in the Pinzon and even the Smith fights.
