So all the people who did last longer against Lewis are better than Wlad? The people who in turn beat them must be better too. Must of been hundreds of fighters walking around at the turn of the century that would own the current dominant champ.

****, Ruiz was only top 20. He would of ate Wlad up. 6 Rounds maybe?

The superior fighter thing is all opinion. You're not going to brainwash everyone into thinking Lewis was the superior fighter. They both are great fighters imo. Just one carries himself with class and the other chooses to act like a douchebag and talk **** instead of enjoying his retirement while giving credit to another unified champ :good

Nothing to do with anyone being better than wladimir, it's to do with wladimir not having the ability to withstand the sort of punches his brother took from lewis.

Ken norton went 12 rounds against ali, but got slaughtered against the likes of foreman and shavers. I suppose using your theory that foreman and shavers must of been better than ali just because norton went the full rounds against ali.

You need to know your boxing a bit more.

    :good

Today i read in sportbild, Lewis said: Wladimir is a huge talent and Wlad worked hard on himself. Great perfectionist and Wladimir does not show how good he really can be in the ring but Lewis is confinced we did not see Wlad at his best but we will see it in the future.

I think this says enough what Lewis really think about Wlad.

For a minute I thought you were serious. Then I realised that noone could post that sort of thing and be serious.

Please, you might think you are funny, but this site has enough trolls.

Thank God Wlad's left hook is an arm punch, otherwise Eddie Chambers would be pushing up daisies right now.

Lennox should've accepted the rematch vs Vitali....

As for WLadimir....who knows. Talk is cheap. Who is the better brother ? Could Vitali beat Wladimir ? .... Vitali seems more aggressive and has a solid chin...Wlad plays it safe...not much of a risk taker but it works for him.

You say I need to learn about boxing then you basically say that Wlad gets hit with the same shots as his brother. How? Within the confines of tall fighting styles they are polar opposites. Wlad - Lewis fight plays out nothing like Vitali - Lewis.

Wlad is an excellent defensive boxer and that is why your KO5 comment looks stupid. Name a current champ who gets hit less. If the guy with the best defense in the division gets blown out by a cautious Lewis in 5 then anyone who lasts longer must be a legend.

Usually fighters overrate themselves and underrate others..But i think Lewis is spot on and i agree with him..

Wlad looks smoother than Vitali, and in some "fantasy Matchups" he does better vs slick boxer types..... But for the most part Vitali does better, and in a hth matchup hed ko little brother.

PS i usually think Lewis is slightly overrated.. But no doubt hes better and would have kod Wlad.

I do not agree with Lewis here. The problem for Wlad is, he startet late working with a trainer like Emanuel Steward. After Lewis loss against McCall he worked with Steward but Lewis could work with Steward without persons around him, who does not believe in Steward.

Many thought Steward was not the right coach for Wladimir, especially his own brother does not think so. So it makes it much more difficult for Wlad.

If the Brewster 1 fight does not happen, Wladimir would have faster risen up again. Wlad have to fight against his losses, against the opinion of the public and against his brother. This situation was very difficult for Wlad but he stayed with Emanuel Steward and boxes his way back to the top. I agree with Lewis that with have not see Wladimirs "best".

But his career from 2004 - today shows his unbelievable heart and will to be a Champion.

IMO Lewis vs. Wlad would have been a 50:50 fight.
