If I was a gambling man I'd be putting a significant sum on Crolla.

He did, the altitude just caught up on him. This is an intriguing fight and it will tell a lot of how far Crolla can go, I really rate him, he has came on brilliantly under Gallagher and seems like a sound lad.:good

respect for crolla doing this as i have heard it will be for nearly peanuts.
if morales makes it tough for maidana i would think crolla gets outclassed but no harm in tryin good luck to the lad

    Exactly.

Morales is very, very past it. The fact Maidana is:

    A: Not very good.

    B: Face-first,

flattered El Terrible, anyone who's even fringe world class in terms on getting on their toes and boxing would beat him with ease, I said it before Maidana and I'll ascertain it after. He can't sustain any kind of offense anymore, and moves like he's stuck in quicksand.

That said, I think he'll beat Crolla.

Not about the money for Crolla, he loves it! He lives boxing by the sound of it. I think he's got a good chance if he can take Morales to the later rounds.

Morales is past it but he's still not lost to anyone below world class and Crolla isn't at that level, certainly not at the moment.

Haven't seen much of Crolla, I have to admit.

But whereas Morales done very well against Maidana, it was pretty obvious that he can't fight the full three minutes of a round anymore. Thats Crolla's chance, if he can keep a good high pace and just outwork Morales - unless Morales knocks him out that is.

As I think someone above has stated, by the way Maidana fights he can make someone like Morales seem to be in a far better state than he is.

Right now, someone of a decent British level standard, maybe Euro, who can stick to a game plan can quite easily beat Morales.

Is that man Crolla, I think quite possibly.

If anything, the odds won't reflect the reality of the situation, as after the Maidana fight people suddenly believe he's still world class, or even as the Irish fellow himself said "elite"!.

Maidana may not be all that but the gulf in class between him and Crolla is miles, and i'm not knocking Crolla here, its just how it is, im sure what ever happens he'll do himself and his fans proud, but lets be realistic about this, Morales isn't your average fighter even if he is well on the slide
