I remember someone asking would Coyle get as much flak for fighting for the WBF as Hyland did. While Hyland got the **** taken a bit on here I didnt see anything negative in the papers. Todays examiner Coyles fight gets a mention in a sidebar note which basically just calls the fact the fight is for a title a joke finishing with " if theres anything worse than 2 bald men fighting over a comb, its two men fighting over a belt nobody wants ".
Not strictly Irish but he has a Sligo trainer and will likely have an Irish title holder in his corner [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSWIZaQ4_p0[/ame]

what is the act with this fight night between the hacks lads? I think it would sell tickets on its own- and then we could do it for charity- instead of doing it for a promoter. I am getting my head smashed either way- i would prefer to do it for a charity! i reckon i could sell over 100 tickets! Plus id still prefer if it was before rugby season starts- so im less busy and not getting smashed to bits each week!!!
Magee's WBA interim title fight will not be upgraded to WBA regular bout http://www.irish-boxing.com/2011/07/2349/
lasd anyone reckon Vera second time round is the biggest test Lee has faced to date? he has a win over Mora and is improved alot. he also seems very eager for the fight himself?
I think that is a fair comment, although I think the McEwan win was an excellent test for Lee, who had some hairy moments before he pulled it out of the bag. Either, it is a brilliant, exciting match up.
