Irish Boxing

Honestly, I am fed up to the back teeth with this WBF belt. I wish we could get regular Irish title fights going with the Irish board being more active to mandate the Irish champions to defend their belts or make them vacant. It would be a lot better for the game and give more Irish fighters a chance to fight for a belt, rather than bringing in some unknown import. Plenty of Irish fighters out there that could be more active and the Irish title would be a good vehicle to facilitate this.

Why do we have Irish level fighters claiming to be 'world champions' it is embarassing, and I cringe when read the WBF being referred to as a 'world title'.

 

Scared???????????? or the money they are asking for without anything on the line, Thats the thing with people on here,they never understand the **** behind the scenes of boxing.
Simpson, Smith, Murray why aint they calling Pajo out and willing to put the fight on,???????

 

Because they are legitimate champions (not Murray). Why isn't Mayweather calling out nobody welterweights? That's their job.

 

Paul Hylands name is taken off the Hyde show in Limerick anyone got any onfo on this,Has he got a better offer?On standby for sept 10 maybe?
levans opponets name is off aswell could just be an error god knows they make enough of them.

Slap just wondering what was the opinion of people at ringside re: Cook last night? Have to say, in my opinion something fishy happened. With the betting patterns and then for the fight to happen like it did. All the original money was for round 3 but round 1 was backed into 5/1 as well by the start

Generally people in boxing dont like to say/admit/acknowledge that something fishy happens so people were generally respectful and willing to believe that there was a recurrance of a back problem.

Pajo offered to fight Lindsey on Pat Magee,s show up in Belfast the night Kiko was to fight Wayne Macullagh, Lindsey pulled out of the show and fought on Peters show:hi:
