nice to meet you too Dunky, but i understand the way he goes on is a bit over the top but i suppose it helps with ticket sales and hype, like i said i'd like him to carry on improving and talk less, i may be the only one on here that believes he has a chance of beating Cleverly but imo cleverly can sometimes be reckless and has a bravado when he gets hit that he goes to war, Cleverly also walks in sometimes in straight lines and would be easier to hit than McKenzie and if Tony hit Nathan flush as he runs forward Tony has the power to take him out. only my opinion though.

To be fair my good man I think Bellew could beat Cleverly, but hes went from loveable rogue to big Diva in one fight if you ask me, complaining anytime McKenzie got close, feigning sore balls & boring his way to victory & screaming like a maniac when he won when everyone had lost interest a long time ago.
I actually feel bad saying this as Bellew is a great poster here, but Im just being honest. A leopard cant change his spots:deal

I too tell it like it is but it wasn't me who said he boxed masterfully, i was just pointing out that although it wasn't his best performance he showed a different side to his boxing ability tonight.

He 'outboxed' a guy who throws 20 punches a round at best. Not hard really

    Nothing masterful about it

I hope McKenzie never gets an opportunity again

I expect Clev to win but I think Tony will get opportunities to land the buig shot on Clev as he will come in recklessly throwing lots of shots. Unfortunately for Tony as I like him as a poster IO suspect his bomb isnt as big as he thinks it is and wont be taking clev out. hurt him yes, but putting him down no.

    Spot on.

It was an awful fight. Bellew outboxed a guy who barely threw any punches and who has losses into double figures. Nothing great at all.

Bellew shown me that he has some slick skills no I havent got my tongue whereever, when it comes to boxing skill the subtle moves, I have a very keen eye most of the reply do not know the sweet science of boxing I studied it like I studied the art of martial arts ,
he shown utmost discipline in that square circle and stuck to a game plan.
I am probably twice your lots ages, I am no mug. :)
I repeat myself Bellew has more skills than cleverly. I had cleverly slightly up in talent before this fight. but this fight shown me another dimension of the young lad,
Now can you imagine him with the same skill and discipline but putting power behind those shots, Not at one time he put power behind and this was a psychological match between both, bellew stopped him last, now totally outboxed him in the rematch .i feel sorry for his oponent! me personally i would just like to get knocked out than being humilated like that!!!
I see bellew probably stopping cleverly around rounds 10/11
and when it happens dont bother jump on the bandwagon!!!

Far from 'masterful'. But Bellew took no chances and did what he had to do. That's how you deal with a powerful, crude slugger who almost took your head off last time. Tony wasn't active/accurate and wasn't assertive with his jab enough, but did well and pitched a shutout. He just looks so cumbersome and slower then a lada full of elephants going uphill at times. Loved those feints though, lol.

    Masterful display? Er....NO.

For most part his game plan was actually good considering what happened in the last fight, he did not want to take risk at the beginning of the fight. However, we all thought he would come on much stronger in the last 3rd of the fight since he was in control, but he didn't and bore the place to death. Mckensie plays his part in boring the place also, but he is a journey man with limited skills, so the onus is on the suppose better boxer. Masterful my arse.

    Classy kid...

Bellew said it in the post fight interview...he knew he had to box and he did it perfectly otherwise Ovill might have caused huge problems with his career going forward. It wasn't the best performance by far but he got the job done without hardly taking a shot.
Its not about arse lilcking, its about opinions. Just because you dont agree there is no need to call a man a **** :patsch

Rubbish fight, not even a good boxer against a poor opponent. He still looks like a 10 bout amateur.

I felt he feinted well as Slip said i also liked that he didn't shoulder roll and actually went back to basics. His jab wasn't great nor was his sense of range and i've said this for a while he struggles to gauge it early. I would of liked to see him put shots together a bit more but i'm happy he boxed sensibly for once and looked decent. Once again Slip was right about him looking cumbersome he's got a lanky awkward look about him.

As for Cleverly taking him out within 3 rounds. This is the same guy who's got limitations and pish defence as well. Can understand people saying he wins but he's not a big banger and doubt he'd get job done that early.
