Sebastian Hernandez is about to make his debut at lightweight against sophomore Andres Uribe, who has one career win (by knockout).

I think sometimes the TV graphic isn't always synced up with the official timekeeper's clock, which may have been the case there. Sometimes the timekeeper does just screw up though.

JMM back fighting under Top Rank. He should win tonight onwards to the biggest fight of his long boxing career this coming November against the Speed Demon from the Philippines.

Uribe's too slow and swings too wide. He's getting stopped.

    Round 1

Uribe throws a wild 1-2 and gets tagged with a hard counter right. Again he is countered and dropped hard while throwing a wild hook. Hernandez doesn't look like a novice here. Hooks to the body by Hernandez. Hook up into the guard of Uribe, who's bouncing around off balance. Uribe is knocked back into the ropes with body shots. He doubles over and moans as though hit low. He wasn't. Hernandez hops on his toes and throws another powerful right hand that sends Uribe spilling into the ropes, then bouncing back into him to lean in and clinch. Hernandez comes hooking in and Uribe freefalls in to grab him low. Wild shots by Uribe. Hernandez pops a jab. Wild leaping hook by Uribe is sidestepped. Hernandez is planting his jab on the head of the imbalanced sprinting Uribe.

    10-8 Hernandez

That could have been a 10-6 round honestly. Twice Uribe was held up by the ropes (including the time he pretended to get hit low).
