Alex Arthur was telling Cook to kill Ricky Burns???

If true, Im pretty gutted to hear that... Cocknosed ****:twisted:

 

think there could be a bit of jealousy from Alex Arthur, even though Burns hasn't fought the best of opponents since becoming world champion, he has defended it successfully on three occasions and Alex never managed to do that.

 

Not happy with that eh Dunky.

As someone said, probably some jealousy from Arthur, who i've always suspected to be a bit of a knob. Burns always seems a really decent guy and i'm happy he will go down the better fighter, even though Arthur beat a green Burns years ago.

 

I like burns but he just needs to shut the **** up about head shots. just move on from the farce.

 

FFS do you ever give up,he was aked a question he answerd it. He cant help if cook wasent up to scratch ,he trained to fight and win .

 

come on alba. saying he has been working on the shot that dropped him in the gym.

 

Ricky Burns is a monster now that much is clear. Nobody before has blown out a former proven champion like Nicky Cook that quickly

 

well we dont know he hasent? do we...at the end of the day cooke knew what he was getting into when he steps through the ropes ...the problem isint burns (although im sure you think it is) its the way the medicals are if they cant pick up a bad back

 

i am sure he was working on those punches it ridiculous for anyone to think that a shot from burns won him that fight.

 

so did cook just go in the ring and double over with pain? there was no shots from burns that caused him to double over or hit the floor?

as farcical a fight it was,Burns did what he had to do ... the rest is irrelevant

Cook clearly knew he had a dodgy back.. that's why he told everyone he'd quit in the 3rd round Obviously Burns caught him earlier than he thought and hurt him but Burns doesn't get any credit for that.

 

i could have been in the ring with nicky cook last night. thrown a body shot and cook would have turned his back to me, connected and cook would have gone down.

 

I remember when Arthur was gonna be sparring Burns.....that was the plan.........then got to the gym and Arthur was finishing his sesh.

Result.......Arthur went for a 5 hour rub down and Burns/Simpson/App's did three 8 rounders.


The gym was on fire !!!!!!

so if you were there and did the same as burns ,your saying you wouldent mention the fact you had worked on that punch in training? I think your really being a bit arsey about it,the person you should be criticising if anyone is Cooke as he obv always had some sort of issue and knew that going into the ring
