Is September 17th to soon for Mitchell, Burns, Bellew, Gavin to return?

Warran has a September 17th date with Sky. DeGales european title fight has been set for that night. Its the same night as Mayweather vs Ortiz so if ****** can do a mega show they can make it a PPV.

Burns and Bellew didn't take much damage but the date is only 9 weeks away. Mitchell looked to me like he would need more time. Gavin seems to have allot of things to sort out before he gets back into camp.

I guess he could get the likes off Stephen Smith, Liam Walsh etc out to.

Gavin wanted more fights this year and he's done them to be fair. That's his 3rd fight this year already and he'll probably squeeze one in September and one in December which is what everyone wanted from him and the other Olympians.

Burns will be getting a decent fight soon (surely)

Haven't seen the replay of Mitchell/Murray yet so not sure how bad Mitchell was cut up etc etc, but I'd presume he'll prob take an easier one next.

 

he took some heavy shots. was a tough fight. i think september is a stretch for him.

 

Maybe so, but if he can make it I don't think a soft fight would do him any harm. Or maybe just have a rest and take a big fight straight off in December.

 

i think we saw last night that Mitchell is the kind of fighter that needs a proper camp and a proper test to get motivated.

like he said John Murray is my warm up fight.

 

Antillon would be a great test for him. I genuinely would fear for him if he was to fight Rios anytime soon.

 

I think Burns will headline his own show up in Glasgow. Gavin should be on the show, same with Bellew. But for Mitchell September is too soon.

If Chisora wins next week then it'd be good to keep him active.

The return of Enzo Mac and surely Billy Joe Saunders needs another fight? And Matthew Hall-Jamie Cox would be class :yep

 

What happened to Billy Joe? he was meant ot be fighting for the Southern Area Title last night.

 

It will just be the other set of ****** prospects/fighters Walsh's Smith's etc

 

Gavin, Maccarinelli, Saunders aren't good enough for a PPV card. Maybe as the 4th fight, but not higher than that for now.

has going for him is that Álvarez, Mayweather and Morales are all fighting - immediately a strong card. Crolla's there, so you have a Brit for additional interest.

Bellew didn't take much punishment, so let's say there's Cleverly vs Bellew there. Mitchell won't be able to fight. Burns MIGHT because I don't think that he took a single punch - let's say that he fights Fana. There's the DeGale fight of course. Chisora won't fight. Gavin and Saunders may be on the card, one as the 4th fight.

If this all happens, it'd be a good PPV I guess. Cleverly and DeGale will probably be there, but Burns vs Fana won't happen.

 

Out of all of them Gavin would probably the most likely to be on it, he needs it to prove people wrong, the critics will swarm around him now big time!

It very well could be PPV because:

Haye may not fight on anymore so no more PPV dates with him.

Lack of Khan PPV's

Get Cleverly on there with a decent defence, and throw in a few names from ******'s and stable and it will be PPV.

Although Ortiz vs Mayweather will probably be on normal Sky (they have done this before).
