You've got to be careful about accusations like that, out of order without evidence...."well known around south Birmingham for it", just doesn't cut it, excuse the pun,...put up or shut the **** up
I never said there was 1000's there I just said there was more than the 7 or so you said. Who's Russ, and what personal stuff. **** off Lirva if you have nothing to debate about and just come on here bigging Rob up for sticking to his guns yet having no opinion yourself and just want to mouth off then shut up. I have an opinion, as does Rob, we'll debate them on here like proper fans do. You just run your mouth with no end product
Russ going on about Gavin being on the blow. nothing we havent heard before but it doesnt need a mention.
He isn't....he'd be a massive LWW, and could be a big WW. He's 5'10" and has a biggish frame. His conditioning is the issue, nothing else. To compete at the top level he has to muscle up to middleweight like everyone else and boil down to the weight for the weigh in...either way he has to work at it.
you have a biased opinion pal. i made my thoughts clear in my post about what gavin should do. according to you he can and has done no wrong. your tongue is up his arse mate. jonsey is giving an honest opinion and he is removed from the situation unlike you. what is your relationship with frankie/farnell anyway
Frankie must be feeling like a total ***** right now. Saying Woodhouse was a bum was totally out of order and he paid for that. He took a fair bit of punishment in there and came out with a SD over an english level fighter. Not a good look. First of all he say's he can't make 140, now when he looks turd at 147, "im off back to 140"
I have no relationship with them. I get on with them both, think they're both genuinely nice lads. I may have a pro Gavin opinion at times but you seriously have an issue with Farnell and his lads which is above 'unfair' at times. There's lads on here who've been to the gym, there's coaches on here who have worked with him. They'll all tell you straight up that Arnie is a good coach who's always looking to improve, not just his fighters but himself too. It's a re-occurring theme on this forum nowadays for a fighter to lose or look poor and within hours the Internet experts are calling for the coaches head. In the last couple of months I've seen threads calling for the heads of Farnell, Booth, McDonnell and Gallagher. It's more than a little tiresome now pal
He doesn't look very lengthy for 5"10, other fighters around the same height at the weight look much bigger.
Khan would jab Gavins face to death. Frankie needs a strenght and conditioning coach and move down to 140. He needs to slowly build himself. He is not ready for Theophane or even a Lenny Daws. He should fight Steve Williams.
There's definitely a knee jerk reaction from a lot of people, including myself sometimes, when a fighter loses or has a couple of poor performances on the bounce. I think it's a bit different with Gavin though. He's clearly a very talented boxer. Would you not accept that he's taking a bit of a risk by working with a relatively unproven trainer? 3 poor performances now and all this ridiculous stuff regarding weight issues. Would a top trainer put up with it?
