    I have a few minutes.

Eddie, Pete and Jack Zivic fought 15, and that is not counting there other brother Ftiz, but he was a World Champion.

Good shout - and skimming through their records I count (correct me, if I'm wrong!) 13 world champs. Not the record, though!

We're looking for two brothers - and Eddie and Jack can claim the best 2-brother total of 11.

Yes - but that is for all 3, Eddie, Pete and Jack.
Pete is the one with the fewest champs (Singer, Brown, Wolfe and McCoy)... and if you take away those 4, we have Eddie and Jack with a total of 11.

PS: On a re-count, I see that we have both forgotten to include James (Red) Herring from Jack's record - so the total for him and Eddie is actually 12!

Yes, I also forgot Herring. So is that he record, or do I have to do some research when I get home.

Yes, that's what I have on them as well - 13 champs in total.

But there's one pair of brothers, who can beat that - I'm almost sure!
By this I mean, that there may be 2 brothers, who fought a total of no less than 18 champions! But since I'm not 100% certain they are brothers, I'm not gonna let you search high and low for them - only to find that you have been wasting your time, in case I'm wrong.

I'm talking about Paul and Joey Pirrone!
They both came from Cleveland, Ohio - so I'm pretty sure, they must be brothers. But, of course, they could also be cousins. I have been unable to find anything on the net, which explains how they are related. But I bet you know - so can you confirm, that they really are brothers??

I looked at a lot of the Ring Magazine's from the 1940's and they have results and boxing news of Cleveland and none of them even wrote any thing on them being related. I sent an E-Mail out to some of my froends in the Cleveland area to see if they know.

Man I had the Flanagan brothers down right from the start but left out Lauro Salas for some reason. That's what happens when you rush things.

I will keep you up-dated on what I find on the Pirrone's.

Yeah, I thought there had to be a reason, why you didn't mention the Flanagan's right away!

As for the Pirrone's, I have been digging in some old Ring Record Books...
and in the 1961 edition, on page 123, Paul and Joey are listed as brothers!

Yes, I just looked at that myself, but sometimes the Ring Record Book wasn't always acurate. That list in that Ring Record Book was most likely the most brothers I ever seen in any book.
