John Rawling

TBH, I think Rawling & Watt work better as a team than darke & Watt, cos Darke is so up his own arse he throws hissyfits when his sidekick doesnt agree with him.

Just listen to Darke when naz made his entrance against McCullough, he moaned about Naz disrespecting his opponent for ages, then asked Glen McCrory what he thought, leaving Glen with no option but to side with ******, & dont even get me started on the Haye Valuev fight, where Darke made Watt dance to his tune, it was sad to listen to a scottish boxing legend have to back down like a ***** to keep his job.

Rawling aint perfect, but unlike Darke, he at least listens to what his sidekick has to say.

Just a thought.

 

I think Rawling's ok. His voice doesn't get on my tits and he's usually enthusiastic if nothing else.

I think Rawlings is fine, he obvioulsy loves the sport, liked him since his Radio 5 live days.

 

I like him too.

 

Rawling is decent. Most annoying voice has to go to Adam Smith.

 

John is a very good commentator and knowledgable regarding boxing.PS an absoulute gent as well.

 

Used to think he was very good but the other night he was rather sloppy in his delivery in terms of getting names right etc. Setanta days he was very good IMO.

I just think he's trying to settle in to shoes of Darke that's all.

 

He's not too bad imo. Would still prefer Ian Darke to commentate on every single fight.

 

I like Rawlings he makes Watt tolerable.

John Rawling is ok, he seems to say what's on his mind..........weather its con-traversal or not.

And that's what we need.

 

As for Costello he's very good at being dramatic i'm not so sure how he would do on TV. He suits radio but can get quite negative at times i've noticed. His commentary on the final piece of Froch-Taylor was epic!
