    I thought 'reach' is measured from the armpit to the end of the fist? Lewis is listed as having longer reach than both brothers.

    The reason why it's a good idea to jump back when Haye throws is that he falls off balance if he doesn't hit you and thus can't put combinations together. This is what Steward said before the fight, the same Steward who would have been giving Lewis advice against Haye.

    2. Wingspan is sometimes listed as reach, but it is actually a measurement of both extended arms, shoulders, cheset, and hands, finger to finger. You think Lennox has 84inch long arms? Fighters with long fingers and broad shoulders like Wlad often end up with larger measurements but don't necessarily have a true reach advantage.

    If what you said actually is true my respect for Wlads skills is growing tremendously. He is basically T-rex compared to lewis, yet he is much better long range fighter.
