I speak on behalf of myself and friends I know. By stating that most of the fans were satisfied with his weight, I think you are speaking on behalf of ppl you know or may not know, but I don't give a damn. So, why are you telling me not to speak the truth? He was/is a fat piece of $hit that embarrassed himself by not taking good care of his body. Besides, he said it, he doesn't like boxing. Just because you like the unprofessional fatty, it doesn't mean everyone does, and chiseled is overrated. Just look at Haye, but being in shape is a #1 for an athlete. I'm not boycotting Solis, I just gave my opinion, one that you disagree with, but I couldn't care less.

 

I'm rooting for YB, you can't improve the chin, but you can learn how to hide it, and can learn how to turn over your punches and get the most out of a punch.

And no, he has never said that he doesn't like boxing what he actually said is that he " doesn't follow boxing ", that's very different. I got a sneaky feeling that once Solis comes back he will be 100% focused and will beat the living **** out of everybody just to make a statement and prove all his critics wrong , as far as we Cuban fans know it's unfinished bussines with Solis , hope he gets good fights and fights for a title soon after. Peace .

 

I was thinking the same , I saw a post of his on the scene about the Lara fight if Im not mistaken , so he should be around .

It meants what I said, for me to back him up again he needs to prove himself and be in shape, and again you said you don't want to offend me but you do, who are you to tell me? "I don't want to see you " backing him up " later OK? Just because I'm **** off at him it doesn't meant I'll not root for him if he get himself in shape and do the right thing as an athlete, I'm rooting for every cuban, if they deserve it.

Me too , I understand how you feel about Solis , I feel that way too , all those pictures of him having fun late at night at the disco , all those childish tatoos he's had ( hip hop tatoos ) , all that weight he unecesarilly put on , his assumed dislike for training ( and being puntual at it ) , his not following of boxing ( when it should be his OBSESSION ) , all this inmature behivour led to his papelazo in the Klitschko fight ( IMO ) , he should grow up mentally and realize that this is his ONLY chance to make it as a pro , all that Team Cuba mentality of thinking that " Oh , I'm the Olympic Champ so I deserve everthing " is of no use now , this is the Pro game , it's a whole different ballgame now and only those that sacrifice themselves and train , train , train get to be elite one day , he should follow the example of Sergio " Maravilla " Martinez who started boxing at age 19 and didn't take it seriously until he was 29 , ! serious about the sport ! A long time ago I read in an interview of his that one
day he just stoped everything and had a serious conversation with himself , he
asked himself a lot of questions , found an answer to those questions and
:bbbdecided from then on to take the sport seriously and behive like a Pro and
now ¿ Who's Sergio Martinez ? , I have a lot of respect for that guy ( Sergio )
man , not only as a boxer but as a man . Odlanier should ask himself the same
questions or better yet he should have a talk with Sergio personally but then
Solis probably doesn't know who Martinez is ..... He ( Solis ) doesn't follow Boxing ..... Peace.
