carl froch bio - cobra my story GREAT READ ?

    just picked it up for 8 quid online first few chapter's shows a funny side to him that sometimes may not show and people don't realise/ get his dry humour.

    any one else read this - strong read os far simialr to the Joe Cal book not too deep like benn, eubank's effort as good as they are.

    hard to put down, for me when reading bio's i prefer the out of the ring stuff rather than blow by blow accounts of every fight. Froch's book does that well and as a result it flows better.

    its easy to read but to be honest its not a great read.

    I found his take on not analysing his opponents too much interesting, explaining that he prefers to react and adapt instinctively to their attacks rather than try and predict what they are going to do. In my opinion this is a trait of the best fighters, you're far less likely to get caught by something unexpected if you don't believe you know the man opposite you.

    Too early for him to even consider realising an auto-biography so will wait until my local library has a copy...
