He was two years younger than Hagler and he was previously inactive because Hagler was in his prime.

Hagler! He was the agressor and Alot of those punches Leonard threw didnt even land.

I'm not arguing that; that's why Hagler was having to chase him around the extra large ring that Leonard insisted on having.

Big Hagler fan from back in the day, went to many of his title fights including that one. It really could have gone either way. Hagler looked bad but you could say he won between 5-7 rounds, making it a very close fight. The only issue was the wayward judge with a 118-110 score. That was wrong.

Leonard won the first 4 clear. No arguments about that. Even the biggest Hagler fan would have to admit that Marv gave them away by switching stances and trying to outbox Ray. After that Leonard just had to 'steal' 3 of the last 8, which he did comfortably. The best Hagler could hope for is a draw. Realistically he lost this 7-5 or even 8-4. He fought Leonards fight and let Ray get into his head.

I had Leonard stealing it. It isn't Leonard's fault Hagler decided to follow in his trap instead of bull dozing his way through him like he did Hearns.

That's what happens when you don't stick to what you do best. Leonard learned from what he did with Duran. Too bad Hagler decided not to stick around.

115-113 Leonard. Even if you have Hagler winning. There is no cause to cry robbery.

Giving all close rounds to Hagler, my score was 6-5 one even(round 9) Leonard.

Scoring all rounds by 10-9 must points system which is how I scored the fight originally, 7-5 Leonard.

Depending in how one scored round 9 in my opinion was the determining round of the fight...at least with the people I've talked to lol.
