Trout is Ring Magazine #10 rated light middleweight. Mundine is not in their top 10, and probably not even on their radar.

Mundine has never really campaigned at light middleweight. He has probably never legitimately made the light middleweight limit in his life.

Mundine beats an inactive, 285th ranked light middleweight (fighting at middleweight mind you - not light middleweight) and suddenly he's the #1 light middleweight contender!
