    You been drinking??

I never made comment on his performance so your rant is pretty much moot...Rather I commented on his rather lame statement that he couldn't make the contracted 144lbs, thats unprofessional and shows a **** poor attitude. I wasn't at the event but over the years I have paid in to more than my fair share and of course I subscribe to Sky which probably pays more of a proportion of Mr Gavins wages than the gate money....did you buy a ticket BTW? :finger

Hard to say too much based on HL's, Frankie got hit more than normal, but that generally happens when an orthodox fighter successful pressurizes a southpaw imo, that said, what I would look at, if I were Gavin or Farnell, is that Frankie got his with the left hook over the shoulder, now I've seen a video of him sparring on youtube, where he's looked open to that punch, so maybe that is something they can look at?

If I had a hold of Gavin, I would tell him to stop pointing his lead toe as much, stop fighting with his shoulders slightly squared up, cause I think its torquing his body in an unnatural position, its as though he keeps his lower body side on, but squares up his torso, but that's an uncompromising position to be in imo, which might be part of the reason he's getting hit with certain punches at times.

I believe posture is everything if your ever gonna give yourself the opportunity to be a defensively sound fighter, and whilst Frankie is an excellent counter puncher, I do worry about his defense moving foward, because of his posture.

Take George Groves, he could never be sound defensively, simply cause he doesn't have sound fundamentals, which is why he's not that coordinated imo, now I aint saying Gavin is anything like Groves, but just giving an example of how posture can play a part.

Look at Miguel Cotto, why do you think he got hit so much against Margo? Cause he used to lean his head over his lead foot and fight square on, now what does this do? it brings your head closer to any potential punch, it makes it harder for you to avoid the punch, as you cant transfer your weight quick enough to avoid it, as its all on the lead leg, and because of the way Cotto holds his hands, glued to the side of his head, it makes him a sucker for the uppercut, and because he fights so square, it gives the opponent both sides of his body, now this is part of the reason Margo was able to beat him up, cause Cotto was not defensively good enough to take away Margo's target area, thus not being able to negate Margo's size advantage.

Just to reiterate though, the above doesn't mean Gavin wont still be an excellent fighter, potentially a world champ one day, but it might have an impact on how much he maximizes his potential.

We only saw highlights but tbh you had the most highlights in the clips mate. You done brilliant and proved your worth and maybe the reason why Frankie goes onto big things. Like Thaxton was to Hatton in a way you could of been his gutcheck as the yanks call it. To lose on a split decision is sign of your development. Now hopefully you can capture yourself a British Title down the line cos your quite clearly good enough to.

Do you want exposing......coz i know who you are M.R?

How am i up his ass? Please explain your comments......because i go to his fights. Want to see him do well, no arrogance wotsover about him, thats why ive alot of time for him. I don't attach myself to any1 coz they are a boxer, thats the other person you are talking about. I know alot of Crollas mates through other things so before you make that comment, get your facts right.

Are you only bitter coz you went against Crolla in both of his English and British shots, i know you don't like getting decisions wrong. Theres more to boxing than Manny Pac, you were a doubter and you were proved wrong.

Bottom line is fg shoulda taken care of cw ,with fg non punching power hes gonna struggle and if he cant make 140lb hes ****ed ,he would get mulled by the real top boys at 147lb.
