I read somewhere that he is set to be on the undercard on the 17th September yesterday. He was due to fight on the 9th in London on the Murray ~ Mitchell undercard but it got cancelled.

  4. Smiths plan should to have three more fights at domestic level before he pushes on to euro level. One fight to consolidate his weight at middle which could also act as an eliminator. On the basis he wins an eliminator, then fight Murray. On the basis he beats Murray then fight bjs. Then move on. Fortunately he has a bit of time on his side. But if he has any designs on moving on from the domestic scene then he has to start the path towards that now.
Murray fight has the potential to be a domestic classic at the end of this year

  5. Hopefully he does fight on that bill. He's got to get moving though

Not a bad shout mate. He did say on Twitter he'd of fought this weekend just gone had he of not been walking down the aisle.

  7. Don't doubt that one bit mate. Getting married is a big thing, been thee myself and everything else takes a back seat. I just think he should be aiming to fight another couple of times this year.
The problem he's had is that some years he's had injuries that have stopped him fighting as often as he should, but when hexwas building some momentum, he beat Dodson but got some horrendous cuts which needed time to heal. Such a shame as he could have fought on the Birmingham card. Then a prospective fight with Paul David gets pulled to make way for a bugger bill in December and the rest is history.
I just think a bit more consistency gets him back online and gets rid of the rust because in the last couple of years too much time between fights has not done him any good

Mendy, Murray then fed to the lions against BJS. Different division Same outcome....... ****** cashes in on Smith as a name for one of his Olympic Stars :deal

Probably then move back up to 168

Has Kenny said he definitely can't make 168? Smith should be at 160.

  13. That's my point smith is going to middleweight, whereas kenny is defo smw, closer to being lhw

  14. I think the pair of them will fight. Bjs will present problems smith has struggled with before: quick combination punching. It depends on how smith changes and adapts to that style what the outcome of the fight is. Bjs lack a bit of pop IMO too.
    Good fight if it's made
