    Pacman, but the gap is closing if floyd beats ortiz.

    If floyd beats pac his resume surpasses pac's imo.

    I agree with this.


    I think both have a fair amount of cherry-picked or notably disadvantaged opponents, but in order to separate the two, I'd ask, "How many other fighters of the same size could do the same thing on the night?" In that one respect, the edge goes to Pac, since some of Pacquiao's victories over past-prime or damaged opponents still deserve a good amount of merit because of the outstanding way he performed. Floyd's "retirement" inactivity hurt his chances at a better resume.

    FLoyd. The names on his resume ain't as impression as Pac, but best believe the times he fought them they were all recognized and fresh off nice wins =)

    Sorry, but all of Pac's significant fights (hof) were not prime. Marquez arguably won. Morales was not prime (2&3 fight) a la Raheem and weight issues. Barerra was battle worn.
    At welterweights, well, we all know how Arum's job is . Just my opinion.

    I look at notable ommissions.

    Pac: ayala, soto, guzman, ortiz

    Floyd: freitas, casa, tzyu, cotto, clottey, margo.


    Floyd has more gaps on his resume I don't have issues with the people he has fought, apart from the run between jose an judah.

    Just to address the misconception about pac's opposition being weak, how many times since beating mab has he fought someone ranked in the top ten? I bet it's almost every fight. From top of my head there's margo, erm that battery guy, larios, anyone else?
