I reckon he could lose it, but then maybe he would be week at 135, if Paul himself says hes a natural 140 pounder then I suppose he wouldnt risk a move down.

As I said before, McCloskey should give it a bloody rest. He got his big fight against Khan, couldnt deal with Khans speed & power & went into his shell & hardly threw a punch in anger all night, took some big shots & wanted out of there. It was as simple as that, only his ego took over and once he knew he didnt need to take anymore punishment? He instantly gave it all the bravado.

I watched as a neutral & knew that McCloskey didnt want any more. Hes now behaving like a spoiled brat, in total denial about the fight. As someone said before me, Mitchell has been there & done that already. McCloskey is a good fighter, but he should just admit Khan was the better man & move on.

Oh how I love when people use that emoticon. So, you're trying to be a condecsending twat are you? Holt, Mathysse and Judah all hit harder than Maidana. To say Holt is the only one that's arguable is truely laughable, so I shall proceed to laugh.

 

Is it just me or have they spelt Colombia wrong on the poster? Also the reference to Khan is pathetic, I cant believe they are still hurting over that:wall

Guerrero's just got too much for him, under the asumption that he carries the weight well. Maidana's too sloppy a fighter in reality, we've seen it in all of his fights. Kotelnik, Khan, Ortiz, Cayo, Morales, Corley, he just looks clueless when he can't take the guy out, and Guerrero's got a lot more substance to him than a 22 year old Ortiz. All Maidana's got that surpasses Katsidis is his physical strength, and I doubt Robert's going to stick around long enough to allow Marcos to impose it.

Guerrero's feet may not be as fast as Khan's, but his footwork is better, and that'll be Maidana's downfall. He's going to have a stiff jab pelted into his face, while all of his ragged lunges get side-stepped, to which Guerrero's going to make him pay, more than likely with that right uppercut he possesses. I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility that Robert could hurt El Chino, if Erik Morales can do it why can't he. Guerrero won't be a static target like Ortiz, but he won't move around to the extent that he tires himself out like Khan, it'll be the right blend, and Maidana won't know what to do.

I think Guerrero will fight relatively safely though, so not to put himself at too much risk. I'd take Guerrero by a reasonably wide decision.

Judah is certainly not a bigger hitter, and as I said already, Mathysse is at best equal. When did Mathysse knock out "elite" fighters seen as that's the grounds you use to discredit Maidana. Later!

 

Comparable opposition, Mathysse dropped Corley nine times(granted, some weren't genuine), Maidana failed to dent him. For a supposedly massive hitter, being unable to shift a shot fighter isn't great now is it?

And Judah's left hand is easily a bigger shot than anything Maidana has in his arsenal. His stoppages of Mabuza, Rivera, Spinks and the fact that he hurt Cotto and Tzsyu would indicate that.

 

I'd rather not know what fantasies enter your head. I'm sure somewhere on the internet you will find like minded people to share your thoughts with but until you find them I would recommend pencil and paper.
