Mitchell was a little late aswell. Prescott was already exposed by Vasquez.

Not just you mate - it seems Prescott is fighting out of the university in New York these days.

I spotted it and emailed them yesterday morning. Its a common mistake that people make and I am usually on the look out for that one.

Actually I noticed it in about three articles that came out as well.

Breidis Precott's nickname is "The Khanqueror", it's only natural that a poster for one of his fights will have some mention of Khan, it is essentially his claim to fame. The fact that his next opponent's solitary defeat came at the hands of Khan it's quite understandable that they've included it in the paper...

I take on board the 'sour grapes' point but don't read too much into it...

And yes if McCloskey beats Prescott you will likely get a lot of casual fans and friends and neighbours of Paul going onto his facebook site and other social networking sites and internet forums and claiming that this now proves that McCloskey will beat Khan and some may even accuse him of ducking McCloskey....

Don't read too much into this either, try and judge the difference between an insightful knowledgeable boxing fan and a casual yet enthusiastic emotional supporter..

Fight seems a bit pointless, both haven't got a chance against the Maidana/Guerrero winner or the Khan/Judah winner.

    It gives Hearn gloating rights.

From his comments you can tell Hearn is goading Khan, would be funny if McCloskey got knocked out.

Apart from being an official WBA eliminator that is.

Now the WBA are a bunch of shitebag bluffers but these two fighters are in their top ten, are evenly matched in many ways and will be an "easy sell" so its hardly pointless!
