This thread is a popularity contest and has nothing to do with who actually has the better resume.

Clottey does suck though. I saw the result of the Pac fight from miles away.

Pacquiao unless Floyd finally fights and beats him, which I believe he can.

Ortiz ain't gonna add much to Floyd resume, and its gonna be a brutal beating for Victor.

    :-(

as a pac fan, i'm happy to admit floyd is crazy gifted, and on a differant skill level to Pac.

However on Resume, it really isn't even close. Pac was Part of a golden age in the lower weights of Morales, Marquez, Barrera and Pac. All 1st ballot HOF's. And it will be remembered in history alongside the Welterweights/Middle in the 80's and the Heavy's in the 70's.

Not to mention what Pac has done since then.

Seriously, the resume's could not be further apart.

Go read a dictionary, rip, and come back when you're finished.

    Actually, don't come back.

They have both fought out of their league and won at times and they have both fought fighters past prime or hype jobs... They have very similar resumes and accomplishments. This is more of a valid thread than *****'s and *******s give it credit!

You're forgetting that clottey was beating baldo to the pulp until the worst rip off ever. Baldo payed the ref, the ref award baldo a DQ. So basically clottey should've won that fight because he's clearly ahead in all scorecard. So Clottey beat baldo and make his face a bloody mess before floyd does.

Pacquiao fought NO notable or known fighters from Light Flyweight to Super Bantamweight. His first notable opponent was Barrera & that was in 2003, when he started his career in 1995. So that's 3 divisions fighting complete scrubs w/ 2 KO loses & a draw, from 1995-2003. Now lets parallel Mayweather's career from 1995-2003, He was preparing for the Olympics in which he lost the following year. That same year he turned pro & completely dominated the Super Featherweight division & fought about 12 world champs in that time frame. While Pacquiao who turned pro first had fought less than 11 world champs in the span of 3 weight classes.

SIDE NOTE: Manny has never cleaned out a weight division or stepped up to a new weightclass & fought its BEST champion, he also doesn't have a lot of versatility in his opponents styles, he only faces flat footed, come forward dudes w/ less than worldclass handspeed

who wins from 130 to 154
130-Mayweather - Floyd is considered the GOAT in the division according to most experts, If not then #2 behind Alexis Arguello.
135-Mayweather - fought arguably the toughest Lightweight at the time twice for his Lightweight debut
140-Pacquiao - Beat Hatton who was the best @ 140 because of the departure of Cotto & Mayweather & Tszyu's retirement.
147-Mayweather - Lineal champ (twice technically)
154-Mayweather - both have 1 fight but Pac fought for a vacant w/ a catchweight & Floyd beat Osacr coming off of a great KO over Myorga

hatton decline?? lol That's not the reason why he lost. He's just a **** fighter, even in his super prime pac would beat him 10/10 and he would still be a cherry pick. Jmm would beat him 9/10 **** even a 118 donaire would Knock hatton out cold at 140.
