Jetski! Glad to hear some Golota news for ya! Unfortunately...I wish it was news that he's enjoying his retirement. He's beyond done and wish he would hang em up for good. But if he does comeback....I shall support him as I always have. Just really dont want to see him take a lot of hard shots from bums he would have walked through a few years ago (which I definitely see happening). Retiring after the Mollo victory would have been great. Another thing......How many times has this guy come back? Im calling it right now. He fights 3 fights against scubs. In 2012 he earns his way to a shot against a top guy, loses but gives a respectable showing and then decides to call it a day. In 2013 he announces he is coming back to do it all over again! Golota is an absolute nut! One of the many reasons Ive always loved him!
He's not, troll, he's invested well from everything I've heard and supposedly his wife makes good money too.
Where ya been???:good I just email my wife to tell her this news & heres what she had to say: This content is protected This content is protected Women...:-(
Very good jab & serious power. His chin was inconsistent at best. He took some bombs from Bowe but went down like a saack of potatoes against Lewis. Either Lewis hits waaay harder than Bowe or Golota can take punches sometimes, other times not so much. Weird.
If he's in it for the money he'll aim for the Klitschkos. If he's in it to retire on a high note than he should fight some bums.
Like a lot of Polish kids in the mid nineties, Pawel was mesmerized by the whole Golota saga and that apparently inspired him to switch to boxing from wrestling. I believe he was around 15 ish at the time. At first he just dabbled in it for fun. He started taking boxing seriously, very late and even today he still holds another full time job, crazy idiot. For me, its just a little too bad that he doesn´t have a touch more power in his hands. It would suit his style of fighting very well. He could be like a miniature Tyson in there. I just have to wonder, how many kids Golota inspired to be involved in boxing and how many of them went on to compete professionally. That may be Golota´s greatest legacy.
bowe was also heavy handed like lewis...Lewis must had hit golota in the right spot...and then launched a lots of shots....golota seems to have bad days sometimes...mental weakness, great talent
Golota could make like charity fight or something like that....not too serious but fun ,like against Tyson...
lets see...hes 43 years old has 5 wins in the last 10 years , those against Brian Nix 18 wins 10 losses Terrance Lewis 32 wins 13 losses Jeremy Bates 21 wins 13 losses Kevin McBride 34-5 Mike Mollo 19-1 for the WBA Fedelatin heavyweight title (haha) sounds like a brilliant idea!!!
IMO Lewis didn´t hit Golota in the right spot, he hit him at the right time. Early rounds were like cryptonite for Golota. Early on he was tense, unfocused and would basically panic when hit hard. Lewis basically set the blueprint of how to beat Andrew Golota. Aside from the loss to Grant and the controversial decissions versus Byrd and Ruiz, Golota always lost early.
