I disagree ya know. i dont think, in fact im pretty much sure, that cleverley doesnt have the power to keep bellew down and due to clevs good chin i wouldnt be surprised if bellew couldnt knock him out neither.

exactly. the bellew v cleverley fight is pretty much made so of course bellew is gonna play it safe. ovil only had one chance, to knock bellew out with a right hand and bellew took it away from him. good, safe, smart boxing. he will make a lot of money.

Id love Hopkins to fight the winner and just take them to school.

They both get on my nerves. A double knockout would be nice

Sorry what result was it that got you thinking bellew will KO Cleverly inside 6? When he could not do that to either Bob or Ovil? He ran saturday night he didnt box, he ran and maoned at the ref everytime mckenzie got close. Tony Bellew has got eveyone beliving that Ovil McKenzie is a massive puncher, in the words of an annoying teenage american

    HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Gotta admire Bellew for getting himself in the Cleverly picture when he clearly doesn't merit it. He's done the hype stuff pretty well without straying into Haye of Fury-like territory. I hope it's a good pay day though, because he is going to get picked apart.

Actually this looks as if it could build into an interesting rivalry.

    I suspect both are chinny.
I suspect Cleverly is the better boxer and has better stamina.
I suspect Cleverly makes the weight easier.
I think Bellew fought scared in that fight against a "Puncher" with 25% KO ratio.
Cleverly was rocked bad by that WBO challenger.
Bellew is going to be the bad guy, Cleverly the good.
I just love that Liverpool accent. :good

Considering this will undoubtedly be Cleverly's toughest fight to date, I can't understand why these Valley boys are trying to slate Bellew's record...

Personally think the valley rat still has a lot to prove, don't buy the 'world' title for one second since he won it outside of the ring and defended it once against a 48hour stand in who still managed to wobble him.

I want to like Clev but he believes his own hype way too much and is waiting to get exposed in my opinion, unless he stops sticking his chin out and laughing when he gets buzzed. Will be interesting to see if he tries it against Bellew, as he will clearly try and take the 'fookin rat's head off

I like both guys and i have no doubt Bellew can knock Cleverly out especially as Cleverly likes to trade.

But i doubt how bellew will defend against Cleverlys attacks his defence didnt look great on sat Mckenzie wasnt really active enough to keep any sort of sustained attack up.

I genuinely feel sorry for him, when his bubbles bursts he will have trouble dealing with it just you guys wait and see...

Cleverly has the pin to the bubble with his punch output and variation just aslong as he boxes and doesn't brawl...

if Clev outmans him and beats him at his own game, which is very possible, bellew may never recover.

Fact is, he has the raw materials but he would greatly improve his chances if he got top quality training and sparring in the US. He is in danger of becoming the next Enzo. Could Clev be his Haye??

I can see Clev pretending he's gonna come in fighting as a brawler and Tony going all out and blowing his load and being stopped late. Remember Macintosh? he had a higher ko ratio than bellew and fought as good competition if not better (he was euro champ after the clev fight lets not forget) and he got absolutely spanked when they fought. Granted bellew has a better brain than danny mac but the outcome will be the same.

Clev is massively under-rated and bellew massively over-rated imho. He tactics against a fighter with 10 losses is nothing short of a joke to be honest. Ovil is lhw version of Sprott or summat and no better yet bellew came all defensive like he was fighting a real top level fighter, 'master class' my ****ing arse, you wanna see a master class just watch froch fight abrham or summat.

I can see Cleverly dominating Bellew to be honest; technically better, faster, seems to have a slightly better chin and clearly makes the weight no problem. I reckon he stops Tony in the middle rounds.
