I rewatched his fight against Sanders today - very entertaining and he could be good viewing. Nowadays he is a stiff mass who has seen better days and he isn't going to make much noise. Back in the day he was quite a skilled operator and his resume doesn't quite match his potential.

does he still have that part time job of impersonating police officers? did his wife the attorney handle that yet, or does he still avoid that city?

That Sanders fight, is my second favorite Golota fight, after Bowe. It was a very bloody affair and not too many people saw it.

Just before the fight Dr. Katz administered an injection of lidocaine which gave him a near fatal reaction.

On the topic of his chin, watch the right hand that tyson hit golota with. That would have put most if not all heavies to sleep.

If you're pressed for time, skip to 3:30 and watch the second round. Ahh this is what heavyweight boxing should be all about. It is light and day between the crap snoozefests we have to put up with today.

Go Golota. If a respected neurologist gives him the green light and he's otherwise healthy and fit (ie., in better form than in the adamek fight), I'd always be interested (at least somewhat) in a realistic type comeback. I bet you he can still draw a bit to so that he could help sell--as an undercard fighter-- a big card. If fit, he could, after a couple fights, be somewhat of test for some of the up and coming hws

jesus christ that is what HW is all about. I'd do anything for that to come back... These heavies these days can't go up against those kind of battles, sorry but its true. This era is made up of something else

I was a fan of Golota's since the Sampson Pa'hua fight, but I don't think he's really coming back. We have seen a lot of this lately- Ruddock, Kirk Johnson, etc. These old guy comebacks always seem to fizzle.

Hey, I hope I am wrong. My suggestion- Bowe has been playing this game for years. Book Golota-Bowe III, and lobby for the winner to get a shot at Vitaly, who is 40 himself these days.

same man ... i was about 6 or 7 when my dad would throw golota parties. I loved it but never understood why the guy had to land so many low blows lol
