Ever see a young hitter get smoked by a master pitcher? The pitcher makes him miss again and again, wildly, and then strikes him out. All the time making it look easy. This.

I am being realistic.. victor's best chance would be getting him out early!

And keep in mind no one was as tough or had as much heart as Gatti, whilst in Ortiz you have the complete opposite he's not tough and he 0 heart.

Mayweather should win given his pedigree as a fighter. I think its going to be another fight where he outclasses Ortiz so much, the general public will perceive that he faced him because " knew he would win "

I expect for Ortiz to come out the first couple rounds very aggressive, maybe landing a good punch in the process but mostly missing because of Floyd's great defense, after realizing he won't be able to blow thru Floyd he settles into a slower pace trying to box with Mayweather...

At this point jabs to the body, lead right hands, pull counters and lead left hooks will break him down where I see Vic starting to get frustrated and takes punishment looking similar to Zab, Marquez, Shane, Oscar & a host of others who just couldn't find a way to land a clean punch...

Flashes of The Pretty Boy of old will show....Floyd by UD...118-110....

It won't look anything like that. Ortiz is a southpaw , and an aggressive one.

It all depends how Ortiz comes out. If he comes out agressive and determined, he'll give Floyd a handful for a few round at least. Might even hurt Floyd. Floyd should take over by the mid rounds and start taking Ortiz apart. I'm curious how FLoyd's gonna look after a long layoff. And Ortiz does have a chance to pull off the upset.

Ortiz will come on strong at first and look stronger than before. Ortiz wins one of the early rounds and maybe 2 depending on who is scoring the fight. By round 4 Floyd takes over and walks Ortiz down and starts to wear him down.
By the 8 round, Floyd lands on Ortiz at will and gets him out of there by the 10th

An aggressive southpaw with a questionable chin and no heart, he may try to start fast but when Floyd starts connecting you can be sure that Ortiz will have a mental breakdown.

^ Berto landed bombs on Ortiz and he kept coming. If that version of Ortiz shows up, it won't be as easy for Floyd as you think.

While he doesn't often use or apply it, Floyd can hit and hit hard. Couple that with Ortiz's questionable defense and I see a knockout for Floyd late in the fight. That said I'm routing for Victor and hope he KO's Floyd!

There is a reason Floyd took this fight and it's not because he believes Ortiz to be a threat.
