He couldnt KO Henry Bruseles who Mayweather toyed with and stopped easily years ago, and struggled with a game but lets face it at best an OK fighter, who was already beaten by Gomez and Foreman.

Seems a bit "basic" to me. Good in many area's but nothing that you could point to and say thats where he's special. :bart

Wow ripper that was quite a sonicboom reply to an alter-ego Michigan Warrior.

Stop talking to yourself....stop ripping yourself and get a 24/7 job...

I dont see the accuracy or the speed from Mike Jones. I see some clubbing power but alot of combinations that lead nowhere.

hes got some skills and is a big 147 pounder. Karass kicked his ass in the 1st fight. he has potential, but I want to see him fight someone legit and win before i back him up.

Right now I'd say Mike Jones is still at the "Who?" stage. Maybe one day he'll be at the Mr. Jones stage. But I dont see it. :good

It's a bit unfair to hold him up to the Mayweather standard, don't you think?

He's still a very good talent and worth following. He'll be a player.

Mike Jones is being said to be a candidate for next American star. That wasnt a "star" like performance.

Bruseles is probably one of Mayweathers worst victories. He's not even a contender level boxer. I expect Mike Jones to stop him.

Yeah that isn't even fair. Jones was a bit inexperienced when he fought Brussels. He really didn't show his current potential until he fought Soto Karass the second time.

When comparing young fighters and their talent level, you judge them based on the best in the business.

When Yoriorkis Gamboa fought Jorge Solis, he KO'd him faster then Pacquiao did. He didnt win a sloppy UD. As to why when people see Gamboa, they say "wow!" as to why when people see Mike Jones they say "He's ok".
