 Come on Scurla, it's a UK event. I'm well pleased with it. I was expecting something like:

UFC 138: Hardy vs Swick II... :dead

Quite so - I mean UCMMA making the move onto pay per view tells you everything. Sadly combat sports just don't draw the audience that means they can thrive without ppv in this country.

This card is ****ing weak. Its looking like I'll cash in on my ESPN subscription and watch it at home!

    The below is from Wiki.

Middleweight bout: Mark Muñoz vs. Chris Leben
Bantamweight bout: Brad Pickett vs. Renan Barão
Welterweight bout: Thiago Alves vs. Papy Abedi

John Hathaway is expected to compete at this event.

    Bouts in the works include:
    Anthony Njokuani vs. Paul Taylor
    Terry Etim vs. Edward Faaloloto

Good so it's not just me then. The UFC does this crap all the time when they come to the UK. They think they can fling on any old show and fan's will turn up in the bucket load (They're probably right though :yep ).

I buy into the brand as a result of the fights made. Otherwise I won't buy into their product.

I complained last year about us Brits getting **** cards and a few people said we got Couture etc so I piped down. But now its just not cutting it.

The UFC don't pay the sort of wages that can't see them put on a quality card anywhere they go. On top of that putting on a weak card will stop people buying into their brand.

Even if the fights are exciting, that isn't all fans want. Fans want to see really history being made, they want to see big names and high level fighting. If I just wanted exciting fights I'd watch MMA at Ceasers Palace in Stretham.

Hardy win or lose against lytle will be thrown onto the card and the tickets will sell themselves. FACT.

More averageness added to the card - Mark Scanlon vs. James Head. I want a card that will have a fighter whos basic is 6 figures.

Do you know how bad it is when we don't even have Hardy or Bisping on the card. They used to at least be top ranked fighters. Even Thiago Alves isn't top 5 anymore. Neither is Leben or Munoz.

I hope UFC quickly realise the fans think this card is pish and step up.

They won't need to. As there's ton's of gullible pugs who will by what is less than a UFN card.

There is still more than enough time for them to beef up the card with quality fights. Here's hoping.
